3.5/5. My group of 7 friends came here on a Sunday afternoon and were provided a table quickly. The all day price ended up being $38 pp after tax & tip. Not bad for AYCE! The first round we ordered was awesome. The fish quality was good, rice ratio was perfect, and service was fast. I enjoyed a lot of items. There's definitely some items that I do NOT recommend, but that's just how it is with AYCE sushi in my experience. After the first round, it kind of started to go downhill. The service got a bit slower, the fish quality started getting worse, and the amount of rice started increasing. The server messed up our order a couple times and wasn't that friendly when it came to correcting it. When I would tell him my order, he wouldn't really acknowledge/confirm what I was getting, which made me feel like he did not care at all lol. It was so weird? Even beyond all of this, I still enjoyed my experience since it was decent AYCE nigiri at a decent price. I had fun with my friends and would go back. Some insight on the menu choices... Nigiri - The salmon, hamachi, and eel tasted pretty good. I enjoyed the more simple nigiris - some of the toppings and seasonings didn't taste that good. It was nice to be able to try the premium nigiri pieces, but the uni and oysters were not that good (too fishy/not fresh taste). The salmon belly was good! The crab was literally just an imitation crab stick so I don't recommend that lol. I hated the cajun tuna nigiri - the onions on top tasted bitter & burnt. I recommend sticking to the simple things. Rolls - My party really enjoyed the baked rolls! We got the baked scallop and baked lobster roll and ended up preferring the scallop roll. It was a nice warm bite! I didn't try many of the other rolls. Appetizers - I really enjoyed the baked green mussels! They were yummy and didn't taste too fishy. The hamachi kama was just ok. Do NOT get the seafood salad. I thought it would be better but it was literally just whatever sashimi scraps they had leftover. The pieces were weirdly cut & some were super thick. The carpaccios were also just OK. It was basically just sashimi but not that good. I couldn't taste any sauces. Skewers - We tried the kurobuta sausage & beef short rib skewers for fun. They were cool. Some of my friends liked the kurobuta sausage skewer. Dessert - They have an affogato option for dessert, but it was really weird in that they put cereal (honey bunches of oats or something????) on top? It was... interesting. The rest of the dessert was normal.
