The ambiance has a clean dark lighting with wall art, giving it a modern look. The ayce hot pot doesn't have a lot of options, but the meat is of good quality and a nice vegetable selection. My only complaint is the service. My server had an attitude right from the start. Maybe she had a rough day, but the restaurant just opened at 5 pm and it's only 6 pm. The short man, maybe the manager, stays in the island in the middle of the restaurant answering phone calls and seating customers. There were tables that could've been cleaned up for the waiting guests and the servers were obviously backed up. The price is almost $38, so I would go to a different hot pot restaurant.

I love Swish54! It's nice that we a quality japanese fondue hotpot place in Elk Grove. It's a simple menu, with just the right amount of options to choose from. They're also good for big or small groups, I recommend calling and make a reservation for groups bigger than 6. Their broth, meats, and produce are always great quality and it tastes good every time. They also have the best staff who are attentive, fast, and friendly. Can't wait to go back again.
Be the first to ReplyFood quality wise I will give the beef itself a 5 star.
It's a simple menu, with choice of meat, seafood and veggies. However the flavors are superb. I can't wave enough how delicious the beef was. They also have lamb and pork, however I didn't try that because I was just in loved with the beef. I wish I knew however I didn't know until I told them no thanks. They serve Gunther's ice cream, so make sure you ask for the flavor of the day. Ambiance is quite simple, but it has a unique representation. If you are in Elk Grove area give it a try. It was especially delicious on a rainy night.

I was expecting this place to be a lot bigger inside than it was. It's smaller, modern, and more intimate, which is nice too. I don't recommend large parties here. I loved their tom yum broth. It had a nice kick to it and it was very flavorful. We had a variety of veggies, beef, lamb, and seafood. The portions come out small on the plates, but it's to ensure everything gets eaten and not wasted. They didn't mind coming back to serve more. We had rounds of vegetables. I wish they provided more enoki mushrooms in one serving though, because those are yummy. The Kobe fries is a must try for your first time. The waffle fries itself were crispy. You gotta eat those right away! We'll definitely be back. It's $38 for AYCE btw.
Be the first to ReplyMy friends and I all got the AYCE vegetarian with tom yum
My friends and I all got the AYCE vegetarian with tom yum and sukiyaki soup base. The tom yum soup was very flavorful but pretty spicy. If you're unable to handle spice, I would not recommend tom yum. The sukiyaki was light and refreshing, savory yet sweet. The AYCE vegetarian comes with unlimited mixed vegetable bowl and greens bowl which were extremely fresh! The mixed vegetable bowl consists of napa cabbage, spinach, enoki mushroom, shiitake mushroom, carrots, and tofu. The greens bowl consists of zucchini, Japanese yam, and cauliflower. Our favorite ingredients have to be the napa cabbage, enoki mushroom, and Japanese yam! For sides, they offer rice, ramen (fresh or dry) or udon. I highly recommend the fresh ramen!! It tastes deliciously prefect when cooked in the sukiyaki soup! My favorite sauce is goma which is a sesame paste. Protip: mix the goma, chili oil or paste, garlic, and green onion (available at each table) for maximum flavor! I would also like to add that the service was exceptional! The waitresses stopped by frequently to clear away empty plates/bowls and asked if we would like to order anything additional. AYCE comes with a small complimentary scoop of Gunter's ice cream! Available flavors that night included rainbow sherbet, strawberry, cookies and cream, and green tea. Overall we had an awesome experience and would highly recommend!

The price was okay for ayce, but I guess I'm just used to vegas ayce's being the same price with a lot more items on the menu to choose from.
Be the first to ReplyOur first time trying this place.
It was so good. The service was fast. We loved it so much. So my friends, my boyfriend and I came back for a second time. This time was not the same experience. They open at 5pm. The person who took my friends in was not going to seat them until all party arrived. Which in total there were going to be 8 of us, missing 3 people. When finally a little after 5:30pm they seated us. We were told that we had until 7:30pm to leave. So we started ordering right away. The restaurant was busy. Our waiter seem flustered because he kept forgetting our order or it'll get delivered to another table. We would ask him again and he'd say he'll check on it, but we see him standing behind the counter. Maybe he's busy I can't blame him. When we finished and was ready to pay, we told him to charge 2 bills. One bill with my friend and her 2 kids price and one with the other adults. He said he was able to do that, but when he charged us 2 bills there were a charge of 2 kids price on each bill. We told him what happened he ended up getting his manager to come talk to us. The manager came and told us that the reason why he charged us this because we didn't tell him to remove it. Let me just say *we literally told him one adult and 2 kids price on one bill and the rest of the adults on one bill* how is it that he went and told the manager it was us? He's probably fed up with us because they kept forgetting our order or would deliver it to another table and we kept asking for him to check on it.
Be the first to Replygreat and yummy! I love the pops wings with all my heart.
Ive had a birthday here bc I love them so much. Expensive though but what isn't these days #livelovepopswings
Be the first to ReplyThis is my TOP 2 hotpot place ever.
I am so in love with this place. I only order for the hotpot items, not appetizers or anything because I am just here only for the hotpot! My go to broth is Spicy/Reg Tonkotsu and the rest is up to my party. With friends, I would order some drinks like Soju. I love all their sauces that they have and when you mix them all together.... it's like magic. It's the secret ingredient to make your hotpot experience taste better! Our server was nice and came up to check on us whenever if we needed to order any more items, refill our drink, etc. At the end of the meal, they offer us free Gunther's icecream! I go for the green tea flavor because it's really good. Not too sweet. You should def try their icecream. It's from this popular icecream place in Sacramento. Anyway, thank you for the meal and service every time!

I really enjoyed eating here, we got the spicy broth and it was soo good. The customer service was also great
Be the first to ReplyCame here for all you can eat and it was sooo delicious.
Walked in with a party of 8 and were seated relatively quickly. All of the meats were good quality, ordered a variety of broths and they were all delicious. I loved how they served ice cream at the end. Service was fast, food was great. 10/10 would come again.

Always a great place to eat! Whenever my friends come into town we're always thinking about getting hotpot and this is usually the place to go.
Be the first to ReplyWe visited this place many times in the past when we didnt
We visited this place many times in the past when we didnt want to drive to downtown of-course . They had decent food and service. Consider a 4.5 stars! Recently they stopped giving sauces. In asian cuisine, sauce plays a very important role. I can understand if restaurant stop giving sauce for any reasons but a least tell customers. A written text somewhere would be much appreciated. Waiters and waitresses should consider to ask customers if they want any. So 1 star for horrible service and terrible management.
Be the first to ReplyThis place has great ambience, food, and staff.
We get friendly service when we come here. One of the best hotpot spots to eat at. Tables are limited so get there early if you don't want to wait long.
Be the first to ReplyAttentive service and great food! Always ready to keep
Attentive service and great food! Always ready to keep eating! I always get the lamb and beef!I was introduced to swish by a couple of friends and since then I've been 3 times! Mind you it's only been a month and a half since my first time. It's helpful when eating with friends who don't share the same dietary preferences, because you can split the pot in half to divide our preferences. And at the end, I always save some room for ice cream! Whenever my friends suggest to eat here I'm always down and ready!
Be the first to ReplyOk first time eating here and this type of fondue.
Love the vibe. Definitely family friendly. To the food was on point! Everything was super fresh and yummy. Love how you can make your own dipping sauces. We had lamb beef pork fish dumpling half-half wings and crab Rangoon. The services are quick and friendly. Whole went here with friends to celebrate there was lots of families here and I will bring my kids here too. No reservations unless you have party bigger than 6. Come early it gets busy quick! And top it off with Gunters ice cream which is included in the package we ordered. Yum yum yum!
Be the first to ReplyI recommended SWISH 54 to ANYONE AND EVERYONE who is
I recommended SWISH 54 to ANYONE AND EVERYONE who is looking for amazing Hot Pot. I've gone to this location multiple times. My husband and his coworkers came here once and then he took me and now I could come here every week. Which I have come within one week before! But each time I try and bring new people so they can enjoy what I enjoy about Swish. The meat is QUALITY. It taste amazing, and many people say lamb can be gammy and then say they like the swish ones because it isn't. I personally love lamb but this lamb taste the best. Since it's hot pot I love thinner cuts and they have extremely thin cuts which makes eating the meat so much easier and better. They had AMAZING Kobe Fries. The Sukiyaki soup base is our favorite. I've never really had issues with service. Most times we dump all the meat in and then the servers come by and ask us what we want next.I literally can't even wait for the next time I come here!!
Be the first to ReplyI came here with a party of 9pm on a Sunday night and we
I came here with a party of 9pm on a Sunday night and we only had to wait 30 minutes! The inside is very spacious and quite chilly so bring a jacket if your cold easily! Kobe fries are a MUST, the one thing i ALWAYS order when i'm here because the waffles fries are always so crispy and *chefs kiss* and the Pop wings are good too!! As for the hotpot, we got half spicy tonkatsu and sukiyaki, I personally preferred the spicy tonkatsu more because it had more flavor and udon noodles with this broth are paired beautifully! For meats, we got the American Kobe Beef and it was SOOO GOOD!! The meat quality here is reallyyy good and you can tell as soon as you taste it! Would definitely recommend coming here :-)
Be the first to ReplyFriends invited me to dinner.
This place has been on my bookmark. I have been to other places with shabu and loved this style so let's trya new spot. .So we waited for our table which the whole party needs to be present. I was late of course asian time, so yea....Then we were seated and we knew what we wanted. The order was quick and drinks order was quick too. .Then the first round came for the pork, Lamb, beef, all the seafood and all the sauces. And the veggies. .Service , it was slow. We were waiting for the meat to come and it took a while, we ran out and was just sitting there looking at each other wondering if the meats were going to come out. .To find out the order of the meat wasn't placed and got asked again if we wanted to re order the Meats..We also felt each time the meat portion shrunk when they refill our meats. .Also the veggies we requested extra, was not brought out or forgot. .Napkins, we asked like 4 times and the whole dinner we each got only one napkin. .Service was slow, forgetful, and we had to keep repeating and ask for more but then either doesn't show up or shows up really later..Sometimes we just have to have everything together at once or like not wait too long, I understand it might be busy or prepping, but like for example I don't want to finish all my meat and then rice shows up, we wanted to pair the rice with meat. Just saying. .So it was frustrating and when I keep reminding it feels like I am demanding. But hey the tip didn't get short but something to improve on. .Overall the dinner was good. We enjoyed it. We like the broth and the meat and the sauces. The habenro sauce is fire let me tell ya. But it was so good! Also yay for enoki and shitake mushrooms because those were amazing! Thanks for reading and have a shabutastic day!
Be the first to ReplyBland broth and sauces, poor selection for AYCE.
There are better hotpot options in Elk Grove
Be the first to ReplyI still love this restaurant and it's one of my top
I still love this restaurant and it's one of my top recommended spots to eat whenever I have family or friends from out of townI recently came here on a Friday around 530pm and luckily the wait was only 20 minutes. We got sat down and immediately went to order since I've been here too many times. We always get the AYCE and I placed an order of Kobe fries and Pop's Wings for the appetizers. For the broth, we got spicy miso and tonkotsu. Ordered all three meats (beef, lamb and pork). Also ordered the seafood platter (shrimp, mussels and fish balls). It was a lot of food but we finished it all. We did about 5 rounds and we were so full. The meat and seafood tasted so fresh and the appetizers were so delicious! I love the fact that they provide ice cream at the end, it's a perfect way to end the experience. Special shout out to our servers Eric and Mary. Both were amazing and attentive.Thank you so much Swish! See you soon
Be the first to ReplyFirst time trying this place and it won't be the last.
I think we used All of the 90 minute All You Can Eat time limit... We had a choice of 2 different broths (Miso and Spicy Tonkatsu) and we had 2 orders of Wings for appetizers which is not needed, but we were starving and needed something to eat. We started with Mixed Veggies/Tofu, Beef, Lamb and Shrimp/Mussels... They all cook real fast in the boiling broths and the waiters were always coming around to take more orders.. The All You Can Eat ($35) is the way to go and Swish takes reservations for 6 or more which I highly recommend if you are going during dinner time...
Be the first to ReplyThis is our go-to place for Shabu with a group! Their AYCE
This is our go-to place for Shabu with a group! Their AYCE menu is pretty small, but the quality of the items are pretty good! We usually do half/half sukiyaki and spicy tonkotsu broth which is an excellent mix. Service is always great! There can sometimes be a wait on Fridays/the weekend but on a regular weekday you can pretty much walk right in.
