Made reservation via Yelp and confirmed by text with confirmation back of table. guess what? no table, no apologies, no manager and no food. seems locals outweighed those with reservations. So a 1 to both Yelp and the restaurant.

I'm not sure what is going on here lately but it's just not the same. The menu has changed as well as the quality of the food however some items are still good. The service has been good also. The happy hour menu has also changed and is more limited now and they are taking away happy hour on Saturdays and will only be M-F. We use to come here often but our visits lately haven't been great and honestly for the price I'm sad to say I don't feel like it's worth it anymore.

Seated quickly in a nicely decorated room where our party of 4 could easily hear each other. We ordered wine and mixed drinks and all came slowly but were delicious. We ordered mussels and an antipasto appetizer. Antipasto was very good but size of the mussels may have been among the smallest We have ever had. Would not order these again. Our main meals were gnocchi all a tavolino, rigatoni bolognese and Nonas Italian feast. Everyone enjoyed their meals but all commented that they had better. Finished with Crรจme Brule and chocolate mousse and each were very good. Service was very good. Prices were good.

Sadly this use to be a nice local spot for good food and music. We went there this past weekend & management changed. Bar service was horrible the bar server didn't want to be there that's how she made us feel our drinks were warm and horrible and when my food came out it looked like it had been sitting out all day. over cooked and dried out. Use to be one of our go to spots and that was our last time there. No more good vibes no more good food and way to bright.

I've been going to this restaurant for about 15 years I have to say the last time I was there it was extremely disappointing I went in for lunch. I ordered the meatballs. They were $22 and cold. I had to chase the waiter around and constantly bother the hostess to get my Diet Coke served and then refilled and butter for my bread. Another glass of water food took a long time to come out. The chicken franchise is not on the lunch menu anymore so I ordered the dinner. It was delicious as always, but I had such a terrible time trying to get any kind of service I couldn't get any cheese I couldn't get any beverages, by the time they came with the cheese finally the chicken franchise was called anyways $80 later I just would never go back for lunch
Be the first to ReplyWe tried the beef Wellington special and it was horrible.
I also learned that it is not Italian owned anymore and I only eat authentic food otherwise I'll cook at home.

I made a reservation a week ago for Valentines day through Yelp. I called today (Monday) to confirm, and they told me they cancelled all online reservations. Not acceptable to do this without even notifying anyone. Im glad I checked. Now I will never eat there again.

Be the first to ReplyWent to Tavolino last Saturday evening with friends.
This wasn't the first time I was there & wish I knew about it before. The food & service was excellent. My only comment is don't sit in the lounge where the music is.It's so loud you can't hear yourself think. We sat in the rear dining room & still heard the loud music.Aside from that everything was great. Will go back soon. Enjoy everything when you go.
Be the first to ReplyFoods good, service is good, very attentive.
They offer live music on the weekends, prices are kinda high compared to comps.
Be the first to ReplyFoods good, but not 30 dollars for Sunday gravy pasta.
Meatballs were dry unfortunately.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice venue.
Band was amazing! Definitely make a reservation, place was standing room only. The food was delicious. We had a few small plates and drinks. The calamari was to die for and the tuna was really good. Drinks were so so.

Be the first to ReplyThis place is my fav pasta place in the area.
The vibe here is great. You can come here for happy hour have some drinks and order from the happy hour menu, or have a sit down dinner with family. The bar area does do live music which is great. I have tried a couple of different pasta dishes and fish which have been awesome. Can def be a date night or somewhere to bring the fam.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service great ambiance except some of the dishes
Great service great ambiance except some of the dishes weren't too tasty like crusted snapper and had to send back a shrimp parm which was very over cooked. Maybe the chef was off today . I've been trying this place many times it always looks ascetically better and better and the food gets worse .The deserts were great .
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food.
The portions were huge and so delicious! It might be a little bit more pricey, but the flavors were incredible, and enough for two meals..The only suggestion I would have is improvement in the ambiance, the place was not as intimate as one would assume it to be.

The ambiance is fine,,,piano player on saturday night,,,,the prices are atleast $$$$ and the food is just not that good,,,There are much better places in Tamarc, Ft Lauderdale to choose for true Authentic Italian food,,,This is not one of them,,,Art F
Be the first to ReplyProbably the best food in Coral.
Great bands on Saturday night. We love this place. Slightly upscale and pricey but well worth it. If you're looking for a fantastic meal & cocktails look no further..

Last night we were at Tavolino's to celebrate my birthday with 16 guests. The food was excellent. Our server Jennifer was very attentive and paid careful attention to every detail. Water glasses were always full and our guests wine glasses were never empty. She has the most wonderful personality and always has a big smile. She couldn't do enough for our guests and they made marvelous comments about her superior dedication to make sure everyone was satisfied with their food and drinks. We Love Tavolino's! Thank you so much for making our evening very special!!Carol and Mike G.
Be the first to ReplyWas really let down.
We sent the fish back because it was bad. For what you pay, it was not worth it at all. I'd never go back. Service was good, food was not.

We were invited here by our friends Gerry and Marilyn who seem to have an impeccable knack for finding great places with great food and service. I had heard about the restaurant in the past as a popular local radio show host frequently dines there. As we approach the plaza where the restaurant is located we cannot help but notice the vibrant scene in front of the restaurant reminiscent of outdoor cafรฉs in Europe. There was plenty of parking and we parked right in front of the restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed a small group of people leaving loaded with gifts and balloons; it would seem to have been some sort of celebratory gathering. They were all happy and seemed to have had a really good time. This to me was a very good sign of things to come. We arrived around 5 pm on a Saturday night and the place was already buzzing. The bar and lounge area were nearly full. We made our way back to the hostess desk and met up with our party who were being seated. From the instant that we had been seated our server, Sergio made us feel welcome and brought us water, bread, and a dipping assortment for the bread (Butter, Oil, Roasted Garlic, and Tomato Pesto).Sergio then explained the specials to us and took our drink orders. Doris had an American Mule made with Tito's Vodka and I opted for their Filthy Old Fashion both drinks were good pours and masterfully crafted, and Marilyn had a glass of Chardonnay. We then ordered our starters, Nonna's Meatballs which are 2 large Homemade Brisket Meatballs with Mixed Baby Greens and a side of Fresh Ricotta Cheese and Tavolino's Signature Pear Pasta topped and filled with Walnut Blanc Fromage Cream Sauce & Roasted Pears. Both dishes were exquisite but I must say the pear pasta was like something that I have never had but definitely now need more of.O.K. and here come the entrees Marilyn ordered the Shrimp Scampi that consisted of Jumbo (U10) Shrimp Sautรฉed with Fresh Garlic, Lemon, Butter & White Wine over al dente Linguine {Available as Shrimp Fra Diavolo served with Spicy San Marzano Tomato Sauce} Doris went with the Rigatoni Bolognese that is a House Made Bolognese with Ground Brisket, Berkshire Pork, Dutch Veal, Vidalia Onions, Carrots, Celery, San Marzano Tomato Gravy, Grana Padano, Italian Herbs. There were so many flavors and so delicious. I as usual was undecided so I asked Sergio to choose between the Chicken Francese and the White Linguini Alle Vongole. I must say that he made an excellent choice and brought me the white with perfectly cooked clams and just enough sauce that had the perfect amount of seasoning. One of my pet peeves is when an establishment makes the Linguini Alle Vongole into a soup; this is definitely not the case here. On our next visit, I will try the Francese.A visit from the manager to make sure everything was okay was a welcome touch. So many establishments lack this level of service. We did not get to meet the Chef but I did see him making his rounds in the dining room. This is a very wonderful restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious with the service to match.I loved the ambiance of this place because you get a little bit of everything. It gives you the vibe of being in an Old School Italian Restaurant of long ago which included the lounge and live entertainment. Some of the back histories of the restaurant is it opened in 2007 by the Pozzuoli family and more recently in 2019 was purchased by Sidarth Sethi who continues to build upon the success of an already successful establishment. They are now one of the City of Coral Springs' Oldest Established Restaurants and are attracting diners from all over Broward & Palm Beach County. soflodining.com/tavolinoโฆ
