This place is a racket.
Pretty to look at, but I paid $45 for 1 cocktail. The food is good. The short rib dish is one of the best.
Be the first to ReplyThe Garden Room located inside The St.
Regis Hotel. Let's talk about it! BE AWARE ! I'm going to share my most recent two experiences within the last three months. The Garden Room Restaurant has an bar staff employee tall Brunette Gentleman who's waited on me both times. He's extremely aggressive with his words and lack customer service. I ordered two Champagne cocktails on a Sunday, mid afternoon, upon closing out my tab, Tall Brunette, bartender advised me, my Credit Card wouldn't go through. I was like that's odd, please retry. After watching this bartender retry, he came back to me asking me if I had another form of payment. I explained, no. So he had to manually entered my card ( Here's where it gets ridiculous) after manually entering my Credit Card, the payment was processed just to find out he had swiped my Credit Card & Manually entered the my Credit Card number, where the payment processed twice. I noticed that this "Credit Card" incident was extremely odd, since I just ordered a Mimosa at St. Regis with no Credit Card problems. Then upon my most recent visit to The Garden Room, that exact same Tall Brunette bartender, waited on me and my friend taking our order, after waiting at the bar for more than two-three minutes before being greeted. I noticed The Garden Room, wasn't busy and their were total of five bartenders working that night. This second time, once again, upon closing out, we had two Champagne cocktails., The same Brunette bartender came back, letting us know, my Credit Card wouldn't go through. I'm like, what there's nothing wrong with my Credit Card. The Brunette bartender gave us a distasteful look, asking if we had another form of payment. My friend pulled out cash, then we closed out. This has to been a pattern for this Tall Brunette bartender, who likes to mistreat me as a Garden Room customer. I Do-Not recommend The Garden Room Restaurant, at all. There's nothing good for me to share after two horrible experiences. This issue needs immediate addressing. There were nothing wrong with either of my Credit Cards, by the way. You can Valet at St. Regis Hotel for $20. This makes me extremely sad, since I frequent The St. Regis Hotel.
Be the first to ReplyService is just super slow.
Food is very different, but taste is decent. We waited an hour just for the waiter to come back to place our dessert order. We tried to flag down the waiter, and the manager several times. It's pretty inside and welcoming. Service just definitely needs to be adjusted.
Be the first to ReplyThe Garden Room is a place I've wanted to visit since it
The Garden Room is a place I've wanted to visit since it opened. We went for my sister's 24th birthday for their brunch. While the food was very solid, the service was not great at all. First of all, no one said happy birthday to my sister. This might seem stupid, but any other restaurant who asks if you are celebrating a special occasion in the reservation, usually says something (sometimes even get a treat from the kitchen). It took about 20 minutes to get drinks, and we had to ask for water at least 3 times. We were not offered dessert and when we asked we just got the regular menu which had like 2 options. She never explained that that was what they offered. Getting the check was also a pain and took about 20 minutes. We were told they couldn't split the check but when we told them we saw others do so, they did it for us. I am a frequent flyer to Atlas (the sister restaurant) but the service here was just not acceptable. There are certain standards that need to be met when paying these prices. The ambiance was definitely beautiful and "instagram worthy" but I don't know that I would return.

Ambiance is still wonderful Staff front door, server, food delivery, etc was amazing Okay wine selection Food on the menu has changed. Food was well plated. Presentation was spot on but the options on the new menu were not as intriguing & they were edible but missing the flavor wow factor that i look for. The plates i were told a more shareable for the amount each dish costs. Id rather smaller portions I would go back for drinks.
Be the first to ReplyA BIG NO for me highly upset and it's just not for me .
They say if you have nothing nice to say not to say it at all but i do have something nice to say the decor is very nice . Get dressed in your cutest outfit and get your pictures in cause trust me after you eat at one of the surrounding areas you're going to want to do a photo shoot here . The food is a no for me i couldn't think about nothing to eat but the lobster rolls which was a 10/10 but very small . It was 9pm and they were already out of salmon for the night the only thing else i probably would have ate beside the lobster rolls smh .
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambiance and service! I really enjoyed the atmosphere
Great ambiance and service! I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. The dinner menu is a bit limited, and the entrées that our table ordered weren't mind-blowing. However, the drinks were the stars of the night. I'd definitely visit again for drinks and possibly small bites again, but would not revisit for dinner. The entrées left much to be desired.

The moment you step foot into the Garden Room you are filled with joy from all of the colorful flowers and greenery. The host is extremely polite and welcoming. I waited at the bar until the rest of my party arrived and the bar tenders were incredible and can make any drink you can think of. To make it even more appealing expect a beautiful rose petal or fruit added to your drink. Once my party arrived we were seated and the decadence began. The oysters were absolutely amazing! To the point that I've made up my mind and I'll be back just for the oysters alone. The deviled eggs were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The kind crab omelette was the perfect balance of seafood and fluffy eggs. The wagyu and eggs were tasty and the French toast had the right amount of sweetness. The lobster rolls were toasted and buttery and the lobster was extremely fresh and beautiful presented. If you want to experience an interactive dessert then you'll be enchanted by the La Vie En Rose. Now it's a pricey dessert, but such a fun experience. Don't walk, run to be mesmerized and enchanted by this beautiful restaurant and incredible service. Ask for Chris to serve your table, he's amazing.

The Garden Room was an excellent location to celebrate an anniversary or any special occasion. The service was great. We had a reservation and were seated immediately and the wait staff was really attentive and helpful. The main draw is of course the ambiance which really lived up to the hype. It looks amazing inside, but was a little smaller than expected. We were also seated in an area where it was a little difficult to take it all in, but it was really cool nonetheless. The drinks were one of the best parts of the meal for me. I loved both the drinks we ordered and would love to visit again to try some more. The focaccia bread appetizer was amazing as well. The main entree I had was the chicken panade which was good, I can't make any complaints, but it wasn't anything that wowed me. They also brought out a free 'Happy Anniversary' dessert at the end of our meal which was delicious and if I visit again I would order off of the menu. Overall, if you have a special occasion coming up and haven't given The Garden Room a try I think it's a great option. It may be pricey, but for the ambiance and experience I think it's all worth it.

This place is beautiful! Came for drinks after dinner, so I didn't try the food, but the drinks were tasty and a very cool, fun vibe. Great DJ playing.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was okay but nothing spectacular.
You are definitely going for ambiance. Service was great. The cocktails were good but the best thing of the night was the dessert that had the liquid nitrogen rose! Go for the decor. Stay at the St Regis which the restaurant is at the hotel.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with plants, flowers and other elements, so this is a great venue for special occasions. We visited during brunch and ordered Crab Escargot, lobster rolls and Smoked Salmon Benedict. Everything was delicious, but be prepared for very small portions. This is a place to style and profile, but you may need to pick up some burgers on the way home. Great spot!
Be the first to ReplyI'm first to admit I enjoy fine dining and don't mind
I'm first to admit I enjoy fine dining and don't mind spending $$$ dining out when warranted, but this place is a little ridiculous even for Buckhead standards. First..$12 for valet parking?!? Thank goodness the restaurant validated or I would have blown a gasket. I saw pics of the restaurant online and expected something pretty and enchanting, but the lighting was so low that I could hardly see, and the way the spotlights were set up, the effect was more tacky and seemed to have been decorated from Michael's. The music was oddly loud and clublike, making it difficult to hear my dinner companions, and overall the whole effect felt like a club from early 2000s (probably around the last time I went clubbing). The food was OK but VERY small portioned and expensive. $62 for a what looked like 4 oz of overcooked Wagyu and 5 pieces of lobster dumpling? My "ravioli" was a little more reasonably priced at $36 but only 5 pieces and topped with Parmesan crisps and ubiquitous foam. Dinner with tip for a party of 3 came out to $267. We skipped dessert and walked across the street to Jeni's which was sadly the best course of the night. Overall experience to quote Migos is "bad and boujee" and NOT in a good way. Come here if you're willing to shell out the bucks to snap some Instagram pics or Tik tok or whatever the young kids are using nowadays.

Just...no.....we spent over a year wanting to go here only for it to be the biggest disappointment. It's like they only attempted to make the food look good (and failed) and had no care to how the food tasted. Nothing about this place could make me come back. We were originally drawn in by the ambiance but the restaurant was so crowded and LOUD that you can barely have a conversation. The food was beyond MID. The steak was 'eh' and the lobster roll and sides tasted like they were made out of imitations. It's clear that no one who created the dishes has the extensive flavor pallet needed to create a delicious meal. Not to mention how expensive everything was (if tasted decent it wouldn't be an issue but it was all terrible and not worth it). The service and drinks are the only reason this isn't getting 0-1 star.

I was not impressed the food, nor was I impressed with the staff. I attended a birthday dinner and nothing brought out was explained (nor was it tasty). There were no sides to share or accompany the dishes; I ordered grouper and it was very bland and mediocre. The ambiance is very sexy with floral hanging from the ceiling and moody lighting throughout, but the actual food was just okay. I recommend coming for a few cocktails before or after dinner, but not to eat dinner or host a birthday party.

It was the best restaurant I have been in 2 years staying in America. I ordered paella and fresh mango juice and it was 11/10. The waitresses were super sweet and bilingual (English and Spanish). I Highly recommend this place for couples and friends that like aesthetic settings.
Be the first to ReplyGorgeous spot with very instagrammable decor.
Parking is difficult in this area, there seems to only be valet. Went here for drinks and dessert as I'd say generally the food is a bit overpriced for the amount you get. On the other hand it does seem like they put a lot of thought into the presentation and creativity of the dishes/drinks. Also a DJ was playing music in the corner if you like that kind of vibe. Overall a fun way to end the night!

The Garden Room is the sanctuary to get away from the hustles and bustles of Atlanta. It is heaven from the crazy work week. And, it is an ideal spot to celebrate special occasions, friendships or purely just to grab a drink. I visited the Garden Room on a Saturday evening at 7pm. I fell in love with it! Everywhere is "picture perfect" to capture memories with your favorite friends and family. We, a party of two, were not able to make reservations ahead of time. We were fortunately able to find a nice spot at the bar after waiting for 15 mins. The waitresses and bartenders at the bar area were always busy, but we were able to get very wonderful recommendations. We love all the food served. My favorites items are miso glazed pork ribs (6 pieces) and black truffle pillows. I also love the dessert "Smash Me!". Portion is on the small side, but everything is really thoughtfully prepared. As far as drinks, we both ordered the lychee drinks without alcohol. We are so glad the drink is so good even we requested it to be "virgin".All in all, it is such an amazing visit, even it is a bit pricey (roughly $60 per person including food and drinks). I can't wait to come back.

The garden room will validate it and it's $5.Food:1. Miso glazed short ribs- literally fall off the bone. SO GOOD. The sauce it comes with really elevates the dish.2. Chilean sea bass- light flavor. Kind of tastes like a scallop in my opinion. The texture and taste is great. If you're looking for a mild taste but yet flavorful, this is great.3. Caviar fettucine- 10/10. Never had caviar before so, but this tasted so good. The caviar just melts in your mouth as this buttery flavor. 4. I didn't take a picture of it but the steak and eggs. The steak is wagyu. It was well made the eggs were poached and nothing necessarily fancy about it. The steak was on top of the 1000 layer potatoes which didn't wow me but tasted good. A lot of people complain about the food having small portions for their price but I knew that coming in and ordered accordingly. Everything is tapas portioned. Dessert: I got smash me which was really good. There were so many different flavors in it and different layers. We also got La Vie En Rose which was an experience. The staff takes a rose and puts it in liquid nitrogen to freeze it and make it brittle. Then, they hold the rose over the dessert and you clap your hands with the rose in between and the petals fall onto your dessert. I really liked this dessert. I thought it was flavorful with the sorbet. My husband felt like the petals took away from the dessert. If you're looking for an experience then get this one. I really wanted the apple shaped dessert called are you tripping but they said it's not available on Sunday's and we came here for Sunday brunch. They also surprised me with a birthday dessert after we already ordered desserts which was really good- it was like a chocolate mousse thing. My husband put on our reservation that it was my birthday.Ambiance: 10/10. Gorgeous. There's a wall people take pics at.Drinks: I got the hot mess which was meh in my opinion. Also tried pony express which was ok. Lots of people come here for drinks but I thought the food shined more than the drinks. The drinks are very strong and you can taste the alcohol.Staff: staff was really sweet and attentive. There were other people other than our main waiter who came by to check on us and took our orders if our waiter was helping someone else. They also brought the food out quickly too.Price: you prepay to hold your reservation and they deduct that out of your total price. I read somewhere they don't refund it so we ended up ordering a lot of food and went over it. They also add gratuity on top of it to your receipt which I didn't know. I probably would've ordered less if that were the case because we thought we were under ordering and it wouldn't cover tip. We ended up leaving really full.

The valet to the hotel is either understaffed or very unorganized. We expected a lot more from an expensive luxary hotel. The garden room is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly. How they served all of us at once was first class!But... they messed up 2 of our orders and took more than 20min to bring us the right food. The reservation was made in advance and they didn't put enough seats out for our party. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't come back. What they're charging doesn't add up to the experience.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely magical! I love this restaurant.
PLEASE MAKE A RESERVATION! The aesthetic on the inside is literally like sitting in a garden, there are trees, plants and flowers everywhere. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. Keep in mind this is a tapas style restaurant. So servings are small and for 1 person. Food is really goooood. The drinks are good and strong. This is perfect for a date night or a girls night out. Parking is available at a paid deck and via valet. Sometimes they may have a performance or live music here. Just check the site to see.
Be the first to ReplyHonestly way overpriced for the value.
You are paying for a pretty instagram picture and that's it. Our dinner started off with the waiter telling us we only had 90 minutes and it felt very rushed the whole time -- literally took our drinks away when we still had some left. Thought the food portions were TINY and way overpriced for the taste. The cucumber salad was literally just a peeled and sliced cucumber with some sauce on top. Nothing special. Also had the gnocchi which was good but small. Had the burratta which was decent but tiny also. Had the lobster rolls which were probably the best value and taste of what we had. Had edamame hummus which was good and came with lettuce cups -- which was interesting. They could have done other options like veggies or chips for dipping. Didn't try the bigger entrees cuz they were just so expensive so can't speak to the taste of those. Ambiance was nice and busy with loud music. Overall would not recommend going back -- not worth the steep price due to the rushed unfriendly service, tiny portions, and average tasting food / drinks

It took me a year to finally get a reservation here! I went on a Friday night for girls night out. I was seated right away. The server was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the layer potatoes and lamb chops. Both were delicious. We were warned that the food comes out as it's ready not all together. At first I didn't think I would like it but it gave time for food/drink digestion. The ambiance was amazing and I loved the vibes from the DJ. I even saw NeNe Leakes there. I was very happy with my experience and will definitely come back.

After much dedication, I was able to snag a reservation to The Garden Room for 4 of us on a Friday night! We were told we had to come check this place out during our trip to Atlanta. First of all, the restaurant is absolutely stunning. Definitely one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to, and because of that, you're going to be upcharged on everything you order. I had seen some mixed reviews on the food, but honestly everything we had was delicious. We were just a bit upset over how small the portion sizes were. $300+ later (including tip) for 4 of us and we actually left hungry. I don't mind paying for a great meal, but we definitely felt a little ripped off. I'm giving 4 stars because overall we had a really fun time and a memorable experience with some of the interactive desserts, but I paid $30 for a wagyu pappardelle dish that came with like 4 noodles in the tiniest bowl (you can't really see the scale in the picture). The waitress informed us at the beginning that most items on their menu were to be shared, but you can barely even share with portion sizes this small. The only dish with an appropriate portion size was the Cornish hen. We're from Connecticut and were here to celebrate with friends, but we probably wouldn't come back if we were in the area again simply because of the price.

3.5/5 starsWent here last weekend with my best friend to celebrate Galentine's. We had a 7:45 reservation, but were seated immediately when we arrived at 7:25ish.I've seen this place allllll over Instagram, and see why it is so hyped up. It *is* as gorgeous as it appears! The decor is stunning and would be a perfect date night spot! Food and beverage wise, everything we had was delicious but not sure if it was worth the price. However, I think if you come to a bar like this (especially since it is in the St. Regis Hotel) you have to adjust your expectations and know, yeah, you're probably going to pay a lot because of the setting. We had the miso pork glazed ribs, 1,000 layer potatoes, and the tater tots. To me, the tater tots were oddly enough the star of the show (and only $12!!). The drinks were gorgeous and tasty as well. I knew going into it that it would be pricey, and genuinely had fun taking pictures, drinking and enjoying the overall vibe. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but it definitely is something to check off your bucket list if you're super girly and enjoy these types of bars. Cute vibe for a girls night or a date! Also the restroom is in the St. Regis and super lovely and fun to use...and there's a doorman!
