Fantastic fish and chips! Great food hall with several options! Highly recommend. Incredible experience walking through this beautiful store.

Amazing selection and beautiful display of different foods and cuisines. Only note is that there is minimal seating area so plan to pick up your food and eat elsewhere.

**This is a review for one of the restaurants in the food hall, Kerridge's Fish and Chips.**On vacation in London and so I did the tourist thing and visited Harrods Department Store. It was Boxing Day and so everyone was out trying to get a deal on all this high-end stuff (although I don't think anything there was marked down). The food hall is pretty large and organized, with several established eateries. Everything here is on the pricier side, as expected. I wanted to eat a proper fish and chips meal so we ventured over to Kerridge's. Got in just in time as the wait line packed up as we got our seats. Very limited seating with only a few tables and some bar space that faces the open kitchen. As stated, everything is pricey and so two orders of the fish and chips, along with some non alcoholic drinks, came out to over $100 pounds. As for the food, I'd say it was surprisingly just ok. The presentation is really nice. The chips are thick and crisp and the fish is a large piece. But they apparently use a gluten free breading, and so it gives it this weird, hard texture similar to fried cornmeal. The fish itself was also a bit dry. The dish was accompanied by a trio of sauces (tartar, garlic and pea). The sauces did help for sure.Wait staff was great and attentive, however. Would I come back if I was in town? At this price point, probably not.

A dazzling and elegant display of many cuisines and food choices that spans several rooms! I was overwhelmed by the sights, sounds and smells of this large hall and had to walk around at least twice before deciding on my purchases. Their fresh market hall has cases of cheeses, charcuterie, produce, beverages, and food to go (from all over the world). The prepared foods had middle Eastern, Asian, Indian, Italian, French and British-inspired sides and entrees. I saw a rotisserie stand (hot-off the oven meats) and decided to get their rosemary lamb shoulder with roasted potatoes and salad. The meal was only 10 GBP (strong dollar makes it a good value). The meat was juicy, tender and fairly lean. The potatoes were crispy and well-seasoned. The salad veggies were fresh.I also wandered over to the roastery and bake hall for dessert. Saw many different breads, pastries and sweets for sale. Everything looked pretty and artfully presented. I got a mini Victoria cake with raspberry filling. The cake was delicate and light. The fruit filling was slightly tart and the powdered sugar on top balanced everything out. I purchased a box of tea for gifting.Lastly I visited the chocolate hall, which sold different confections (fudge, chocolates, truffles, dried fruits, nuts, ect) from England, France, Belgium, Italy and various other countries. Chocolates were in pretty boxes, tins, bags and baskets. If you preferred to make your own box or purchase individual pieces you could order at the counters representing each brand. I inquired about the clotted cream fudge, and was given an entire cube to sample. I bought a tin of it, along with several boxes of Harrods brand truffles. Service was very professional and gracious. Such a wonderful place to shop and eat!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing selection - you could find absolutely anything
Amazing selection - you could find absolutely anything you're looking for here. From sandwiches to stir fry to pizza to sushi to cupcakes and every possible thing in between, you'll find it here. You could get lost trying to decide what you want. And it's clean and beautiful! The only downsides are the cost, it's a bit expensive ... and that there isn't anywhere to sit. You have to bring your food outside which isn't ideal.

This is an overdue review for our visit to The Coffee Bar in the Food Hall in May 2019. Visiting London from the US, we were tired and thirsty when we plopped down at the Coffee Bar. George welcomed us immediately. After learning we were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary, he surprised us with sweet messages on our delicious coffees. It was so appreciated! What a special place. Thank you to George and to Harrods for the fantastic experience!

A friend said a trip to the Harrods food hall would be an experience and it did not disappoint. We made it through all the packaged and food counters to the sit down area. Chose the grill and it was perfect. Had a very tasty tomato salad, roasted chicken that was probably the best I've ever had at a restaurant and a really fresh tasting butter lettuce salad. This is no American food court. And of course stopped at the pastry counter for a giant slice of cake for dessert. Again, worth the price.

The choice here is fantastic, even if you have to contend with 20,000 of your closest friends also trying to look at the same thing you are. It's a tourist spot, so that is to be expected though. I decided to get a veggie scotch egg, which was completely tasteless and disappointing. It looked great, but no flavor to back it up. It's getting 4 stars because it's Harrods and there is no where else quite like it.

A little overwhelming with all their nice choices, but oh what an adventure they are for any foodie! Good selections (from savory to sweet), helpful staff & inspiring interior design. This place is equal parts history and tasty eats! Can't wait to visit again!

After a long time just looking at the elegant Harrods, I was ready to sit and have some delicious food. A hot sandwich of ham and cream cheese. A delicious cappuccino and some pastries to go. The cakes and pastries impeccably displayed. When in London you must visit this elegant food hall.
Be the first to ReplyLordy, the cakes here are to die for.
I was given the delightful salted caramel triple decker cake from here for my birthday. It was insanely good. Waiting til it reopens now! Luckily - or unluckily - this Food Hall is basically my closest food spot. Could be worse!
Be the first to ReplyGiven the new restrictions placed on all businesses, I
Given the new restrictions placed on all businesses, I think it necessary to mention the severe changes you should expect from these old gems. If you're dining in one of their restaurants, I would check ahead to see what you should expect before going. As with most restaurants, you now have to scan the Track and Trace code with the Covid app. If you don't have it, they may accommodate you by letting you fill out your information by hand; in the beginning, at least. At the Coffee Bar, they now have partitions placed every few seats, so if your party is greater than 3, I'm afraid you'll have to be shouting at each other through thick plastic to be heard. Alcohol will no longer be served anywhere other than restaurants and pubs, so if you've fallen in love with their Coffee Bar cocktails, you're straight out of luck. The coffee and desserts here are still the best, though, so don't let all the disappointment stop you. Just remember the queue system; you may be here a while. And, of course, let's not forget the mandatory mask policy. As long as you're in the building and standing, you will be required to have a mask on at all times; even if you're having trouble breathing. Them's the breaks.

Every pastry, every sausage and spinach roll. The food hall was beautiful. It's worth the trip. Do not skim over Harrods. It's a dream and absolutely amazing. It's what you think of when you think of service, integrity and luxury.

Well after a day of roaming all the floors of Harrods it was time for some food. I love wandering the pastry , cheeses , spices isles and counters.but it made me super hungry! We sat at the seafood bar as I love oysters. It offers other cool dining areas such as a sushi bar etc. I couldn't even image being able to come here all the time if I lived in London. Makes sure you allow some time to experience all of Harrods and save the food court for last. It was quite the experience.

I even can spend the whole day here as the food selection Is truly the best, so fresh, so high end, so beautiful presented and mostly I can find the best cured meat as well as the best cheese or truffle here. Harrods is not just a kid's childhood dream
