As many others have said, the rooms are lovely. Great attention to detail and always super clean. The light is a bit dim in my opinion (e.g., reading or doing work in the rooms can be a bit challenging, but they'll give you extra lamps if you ask), but that goes with the whole 1920s atmospherics of the place. The breakfast options are very good (I usually have breakfast either at Millie's or at Zobler's) and surprisingly reasonably priced, and more generally all of the restaurants I've tried here (Lutyens and Cecconi's) are quite solid. Service is usually courteous and professional. One aspect of the hotel I find annoying is that they have live music *every night*, which is fine (you don't hear the noise in your room, unless you're on the second or third floor, but even then it's not loud), but it's open to the public and it gets extremely packed, so just coming back to your room in the evening can be a pain, as you'll need to navigate large crowds of (frequently dancing) people. I recommend entering and exiting from the side doors on Princes Street.
