Every person who worked there seemed angry, flustered, and confused. We got a reservation confirmation via email to attend an apres event. We arrived on time and literally there is a (small) line like a club (at the St Regis - def cheapens what is supposedly a respected luxury resort). We were given wrist bands but told no bottle service was available (unclear) then instructed to get drinks at the bar. The bartender was angry and said "sorry we don't give free drinks" as if we were saying wrist bands included drinks? We were only following the confusing instructions we were given and never once asked for free drinks. We then went into the music tent (completely empty - again unclear) and were rudely told there is a minimum. What they did was profile us and condescendingly said it was too much for two people even when we asked what it was and to seat us immediately. We live in Beverly Hills, and frankly are accustomed to situations way more intense than this place tries to pose as. Regardless, no one should ever be treated that way or profiled. They are losing money through this approach and clearly need professional consultation on how to run a business that caters to an upscale clientele. The St. Regis should evaluate having such a poser and laughable circus on their property.
