I'm sorry, this place is not very good at all.
We started with risotto, mistake #1. It was very under cooked, stuck in your teeth hard. I mean really, in Italy and you don't know how to cook risotto? Then we had beef cheek. It was supposed to be a tender roast, but seemed more like it was cooked to order. We skipped desert, just too unappealing at that point.

The service was fantastic and the food very good as well. The antipasto was burrata caprese. Then some spinach crespelle. The wine list is excellent. We sat outside this time but I think the inside might be more calm. There is considerable foot traffic in the alley.

Wow! I don't use this lightly as our tour across Italy over two weeks presented some amazing food opportunities. Right from the greeting and recommendations the vibe from the wait staff delivering our cocktails and wine, to the waiter (wearing chef's attire) were so polite and accommodating. The food arrived (Eggplant Parmigiana for her and Wild Boar Ragout Parpadelle for me. Both were outstanding!! And to top it all off at the end of the night...we shredded the Sinofica Chocolate and the Semifreddo deserts (see below). Excellent choice and recomm NDA toon from our hotel!!

You need to make reservation, especially for Thursday eve, but we were lucky enough to get a table for an hour and a half.Very good Italian restaurant with knowledgeable waiters. Their well known burrata cheese (cow milk cheese made from mozzarella and cream) and a plate of salami and meat is a great appetizer. From that point on, their pasta dishes are very tasty - I took the tagliolini as the primi dish and the tiramisu for dessert.

One of the BEST restaurants my husband and I have ever been to! We always mention the fabulous entrees we ate, the Oseleta wine, the courteous attention from the waiters, the great visit from the master chef, and the award-winning tiramisu we had at dinner FOUR YEARS AGO! That was the best dinner we had in Italy on that trip! If you get the chance, make a reservation in advance and try it! Delicioso! One day we will return ...

What an amazing place! Come here if you're in town for a night. The staff is sensational, the atmosphere is beautiful and the food is wondrous.

We came on recommendation of a friend and he did NOT steer us wrong! beautiful restaurant and reservations are highly recommended! The place is small and has tons and tons of photos covering the walls. We started with a plate of mixed sliced salamis and prosciutto. Perfect slices and perfect amount for two people. My husband had the pasta e fagioli which was probably one of the best we've ever tried... Strike that, it was the best! I went for a local dish of gnocchi ragu d'asino. In case you were wondering - asino = donkey. Slow cooked and tastes nothing like what you would think. If I didnt know what it was, I would have thought it was beef. My husband had the brasato al amarone for a second course. Food is tremendous and service is even better. If you only have 1 night in Verona, this is the place to go.

Food was simple yet everything from the burrata to the risotto melted in your mouth. Rock star wine list with lots of affordable bottles. Wait staff was perfection. Don't miss it.

Firstly, service is outstanding. They are fast, on point, but not intrusive. We asked our waiter to pick out a local, small Amarone producer and he picked a wonderful wine for $75. He could have easily directed me higher. We started with a mixed plate of sliced meats. Let me just say this: they have 2 guys who do nothing but slice these beautiful meats. Just order it! For main courses Wife had tagliatelle with artichokes. I had gnocchi in red sauce followed up by liver with polenta. Each dish was sublime. We made reservations to go back tomorrow. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Go!

Wonderful, Wonderful Lunch! Charming established Trattoria in Verona! Service was fabulous! Rustic and delicious was their food!Started with their incredible locally raised, in house freshly sliced, Salumi Plate: the Ham and Salami were amazing, yet it was their LARDO, strips of fatback, that caught my attention, perfectly cured with taste of rosemary, herbs & spices, YUM!Next, their blew me away Mushroom Pasta: al dente were the pasta; flavorful were the mushrooms; simply tossed with virgin oil; DELIGHTFUL!Last for dessert, OMG, their TIRAMISU sure "lifted me up" from my flights: hint of espresso; creamy and decadent custard; fluffy whipped cream; the dust of dark cocoa powder on top; HEAVENLY!There were fewer tables with tourists on this Thursday than from what I heard and observed from the greetings, as their repeating loyal customers! Oh yeah, it's nice to be part of the FAMILY here!CHEERS!

Four stars for this restaurant! Salumi super fresh and amazing fresh bread was starter, for secondo spaghetti with tomato sauce and burata and Risotto al parmigiano with tartufo! Special taste and not for everybody but I liked it ! Price as always in so touristic places bit high but the quality allows this prices ! €€-€€€!
