Seriously incredible food, incredibly warm and kind staff, and a nice place to be in. Definitely a favorite of ours in Gainesville. The only reason this isn't five stars is that both times we got spicy pad thai when we ordered mild, which is not a huge issue when the food is as good as it is. We will definitely be going back.

My friends and I enjoyed our meals here! They were very tasty and just the right portion size. Not too bad of a price either, and they were very good about making substitutions! We did have to wait awhile for our salad appetizer, they must've forgotten about it. Our food did take a bit to come out as well, but they seemed busy. Staff were kind and helpful! Overall was happy with my experience.

Amazing food to rival some Thai restaurants in major metropolitan areas. We used to have a favorite a Thai place in New York City when living there (and having tried many). This was even better! Generous portions, great value, amazing flavors

Had the opportunity to happen upon this quaint little moment and pop place in the middle of Gainesville Florida. This was an awesome and incredible place to have an early dinner. Everything we tried was delicious and wonderful. The serving were large enough that we had meals for several times afterwards. The service was great and right on par. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to going back in the future.

Yummy food. And to top great service. We went there with friends and it was a great experience and we will be back. Yummy
Be the first to ReplyThe service was okay.
The waitress was nice and quick. The atmosphere was fun but I wish they ran their AC it was very warm and muggy inside. I get it, it is FL but it would've made the experience so much better. The food was D licious and huge lunch portions. I would absolutely go back!
Be the first to ReplyI came here a few years ago and really enjoyed the food.
The curry back then was very flavorful and returned to the establishment many times. However, the green curry today still had the green curry powder when I took three first couple bites. I usually don't send the food back to the kitchen but after I asked the kitchen to remake it, I could no longer taste the green curry but only saltiness. Other than that, the server was very welcoming and the appetizers were great. I'm sure the other dishes are great, but I simply wouldn't recommend the green curry for others.

Don't waste your money! The waitress was very nice but the food and tea was served room temperature and tasted like it was reheated from last week.

Favorite restaurant in Gainesville!! I love all their appetizers especially the spring rolls! And their pad Thai is the best

The restaurant served authentic Thai food with impeccable service. We were seated and served water and an appetizer in seconds. The appetizer, wings, came out crispy within five minutes. Although the green curry was flavorful, it was spicy even with mild. The Pad Thai was cooked to perfection, and I would go back for more. The music was appropriate, and I enjoyed hearing the Thai language in the background. The decor and music in the restaurant made me feel like I was in Thailand.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible tasting food; low quality and atrocious service.
Should've spent $18 at another restaurant nearby.

This trip we opted for takeout and, although the food seemed fresh, it didn't have quite the flavor we'd hoped for. Even the items that we requested as "Thai spicy" according to their online menu was barely bringing any heat at all. The dumplings were quite dry and, even fresh, lacked any flavor. So, all that said, it was a decent meal of Drunken Noodle and Pad Thai staples but I don't imagine returning. Very average.
Be the first to ReplyI had a wonderful experience at this restaurant.
I dined here with my mother after a long day of helping my sister move into her apartment. The waiter was very friendly and the food was wonderful! The portions are on the larger side so I personally had enough for leftovers. But I think you could easily split the entrees as well!

very good!!!!!I've been in America for ten days and this is the first authentic Asian food I've had! But I only ate curry rice. I can't judge anything else

The food here is delicious and we always get great service! Good portions and prices. We've ordered takeout quite a few times as well and never had any issues with our to-go orders. Easily one of our favorite spots in Gainesville to grab a bite to eat.

This spot is quickly becoming a classic for Gainesville and personally is one of my favorite places for thai food. The portions are always generous, the prices are fair, the service is quick and kind, and the restaurant atmosphere remains open and friendly. They also serve yummy sushi and their lunch special can't be beat!
Be the first to ReplyThe chicken pad Thai was amazing here.
The weekend lunch special comes with the spring roll. An absolute comfort dish in my book. Good size portion even on the lunch special.

Tip Tim Thai in Gainesville Fl was worst Thai food I have ever had. Tup Tim rolls were very greasy and a weird texture. The Spicey Thai Basil Fried Rice had a nice level of heat but no other depth of flavor. Bland and the rice was very dry, possibly from over cooking. Even the Thai coffee did not taste like Thai coffee. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a good place to eat.
The portions are okay, and the food is very hot. You can get any level of spiciness that you want. I always get Thai Hot!! I also got the Thai tea.Such a nice break from burgers!!Pad Thai is an amazing, but I need to explore the menu...yummy!!
Be the first to ReplyI got takeout from here with my friends.
I ordered a pad thai and it was ~$15 not including tax & tip. The pad thai itself was decent. Not a showstopper by any means but it scratched my itch to have some. I would've liked more sauce as it was a little dry and the steak could have been cooked a little bit better. The ratio of meat to noodle is on par with most other place. For its proximity to campus, it's a real contender for thai food.

Ended up at Tup Tim Thai, as the restaurant we intended to go to was closed for winter break! It had been on my list of places to try, so it was meant to be. I ordered the drunken noodles at medium spice level and it was the perfect amount of heat for me! If you are sensitive to spice, I would definitely be cautious if adding spiciness. My brother ordered the Panang Curry and he was so happy about his meal, he said it was worth the other restaurant being closed. Overall a great experience, with delicious food. I will definitely come back again!

Very delicious! I had the Tom Yum Soup with Chicken and a side of steamed noodles and the Spicy Basil Fried Rice (not too spicy). The soup is perfect if your feeling under the weather.
Be the first to ReplyWe were passing through Gainesville on a road trip.
Stopped here for dinner. I really enjoyed the Tom Ka Guy soup. It was super creamy and coconutty. My husband had the crispy duck. He gives it a 3.5 out of 5. The Yum Beef Salad was not my thing. It was a dish I had never had before. So it's not that the salad was bad, it just was not something my taste buds enjoyed. Service was quick! Maybe next time we come through I'll try the fried rice. I heard some students talking about it and that made me want to try it. Parking is down a small & tight side street. Park behind the building. Not the noodles & bagel one...they have towing signs up.

excellent food right across from uf campus! their pad see ew is excellent and the staff is always friendly and on it, but if you're in a decent sized group some plates might be a bit slow to come out so everyone gets their food at different times. it's a great environment and they have a decent sized menu!
Be the first to ReplyI'm so sad this place is closing.
Who closed them down. Ur such a sewer rat for that.
