A nice wine bar with great bites
We popped in during happy hour and had a few glasses of wine and a few plates of antipasti. It was great value and lovely food. Nice atmosphere too. The o ly reason I didnt give it 5 stars was one of the bar staff was being really critical of another in front of us for lost of the night. The chap she was berating was good at serving us though!

We had a great experience here sitting at the bar with our bartender Zach. He walked us through all our options for a great selection of wines. The happy hour was a steal with a bright, fresh Proseco and a great selection of snacks--a full plate of many choices for only $10. Great prices on beer and a sprtiz too. The atmosphere and staff were warm and welcoming. Decor very much transporting you to Europe. Stellar service at a steal!

Had a wonderful dinner at Marta with such hospitable service so we thought we would try a drink at the hotel bar which had two barmen who were more interested in each other than serving us. My partner went to the bar and ordered drinks. 15 mins later no drinks - two barmen chatting to one another so we left. They were pathetic. Obviously comfortable that they have careers on a forward trajectory. Well done we will not be back
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service but najot faux pas with the food
Stopped in late night, Monday 10:30pm (kitchen open 'til midnight), sat at the bar. Bartender was excellent, great, formal service, top notch. Wine was fabulous....but it went downhill from there. Ordered the eggplant croquette arrabiata...they were a little overdone/overfried and not spicy but not terrible (B- grade). Tried the advertised "ricotta doughnuts" for dessert....someone needs to explain the need for more than one fryolator!! You can't fry dessert dishes in the same fry oil that you use to fry your food and/or seafood!...and not sure where the advertised "ricotta" was supposed to come in here (F -sorry).

Very knowledgeable staff about wine selections. Tell them what kind of wine you like and they will come up with a suggestion to try. Prices will be higher for higher quality wines. It is a non-tipping restaurant.

Enjoyed late night meal here while staying at the Redbury on business. Standard menu and efficient service.

Perfect place for a wine and tapas.
All the food we ordered was tasty, well presented and of course delicious.
If NY a must visit!!!
Great tapas
Lovely small plates to share which tend to be a bit more adventurous than the usual fare. Very reasonably priced
Be the first to ReplyNice place for a glass of wine
Cool place for a glass or two of wine with a very light snack. Not a great menu but good service. Very loud so not a place for a quiet intimate conversation. Might be a good spot for 4 or more to have a drink together.
