Absolute dump
Stayed in March 2024. Don’t stay here. The rooms are incredibly loud as a result of non-soundproof windows and a busy street below, and there were several mosquitoes flying around the room. Most comically of all, the drapes are just too small for the windows so it’s impossible to close them. The bar and restaurant are closed so there is absolutely 0 common space or anything you might reasonably extract value from by staying at a W hotel (or any hotel). They charge a “resort fee” for what who knows as it’s basically a Hampton inn in terms of amenities. There are mini bars in the room, but mine was picked clean and clearly not replaced. Lots of choices in downtown Miami. Don’t choose here.

Hotel room was nicely designed with high end finishes but it was dated. There was cracked tile, lamp switches were old and just laying behind the desk so you had to search for them. There was a glass lamp shade in the bathroom missing. Most items were worn. Sheets had long strings that got caught around my neck. The toiletries were Italian and great. The onsite restaurant had very slow service, the food was mediocre but drinks were good - waiters/staff were great. View from the hotel and restaurant were amazing! For the price, overall, I expected more.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location, pool is amazing
Great service. The pool is also top notch. The room was clean and the view was stunning. Although not the best W worldwide, definitely among the top ones within the USA. Great location close to top restaurants on Brickell Ave, and a 15 min drive to Miami Beach.
Be the first to ReplyThis W has clearly seen better days.
While the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure adequate, the whole place needs a facelift. Examples: Manually turning off EVERY lamp and switches that are upside down, 11+! Or a sinks that don’t drain (one was actually off its mount) Glad they had that little coffee stand downstairs, but stay away from the baked goods. They’re stale and awful. Even the restaurant didn’t open at 7am for breakfast as listed. Sigh. Come on W, you can be better!
Be the first to ReplyPerfect City hotel with everything you need
The room was large, pool clean and accessible to everywhere we needed. Its naturally a party hotel so the noise we made was well received.Huge bathroom which was great as we were a group of 4 sisters. In room Bluetooth and sound, coffee amenities and the spa was lush. The most amazing massage treatment in an all white aesthetically beautiful room. Paid around £200 for the massage for 60 minutes, but was worth it. The indoor pool areas and outdoor pool are huge with a separate outdoor heated one. Plenty of loungers and a really great location. We had breakfast each day outside by the beach from a gourmet food truck specializing delicious Acai bowls. We were out each night and Ubers and travel was easy and just what we needed for 4 nights.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Stay in the Marvelous Suite
We used a Marriott Suite Night Award to proactively upgrade ourselves from a Wonderful King Room into the Marvelous Suite. The upgrade was much needed, as we were a party of 4 adults staying in the same room. The suite itself was well appointed, sporting a full bath with dual vanities (separate shower and tub) and another half bath. We always appreciate the 1.5 bath layout since that means the folks sleeping in the living room don't have to intrude into the bedroom to use the loo. The decor was asian themed, I think, though it was also quite peculiar and therefore hard to place. What impressed me most was the Wet Deck, where the rooftop pool is located. There's a hot tub, cold plunge pool, and large infinity pool all shared between the W hotel and the other condominiums complexes (called the Icon Brickell). Very rarely have I seen a hotel pool of this size. The Wet deck was packed with people over the weekend we stayed and had an energetic vibe to it. We went there everyday!
Be the first to ReplyFun, Bougie Hotel
I was traveling for business in Miami and prefer to stay at Marriott Hotels - I chose the W for this trip since I had never stayed there before. It was a a fun, bougie hotel - perfect for a Miami stay! The decor and feel of the hotel is upscale and fun - from the faces on the pillars outside the building, to the disco balls near the elevators and all the way up to the room. I had an upgraded suite and it was gorgeous and roomy. There was a separate eating / meeting area, living room, 2 bathrooms and a HUGE glamorous bedroom. Everything was turnkey and clean. Just perfect. I wished I was here on vacation to enjoy the room more - sadly was only there for one night.

Beautiful hotel and location. Specifically Rachel at the pool made it an unforgettable experience! She was so attentive, helpful, and personable. Her suggestions were spot on and she took initiative without us asking. If you like truffle, the mushroom truffle pizza was delicious and the hot parchita drink if you can handle a little spice. We will be back soon thanks to Rachel. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyBest pool on the beach
We had an amazing stay at the W. The vibe at the pool is amazing. All the staff were helpful and courteous. Rachel at the pool went out of her way to make us comfortable , she remembered our names and gave us great tips on what to do while in Miami Beach. Claudia at the bar also made some amazing Palomas. Great staff, overall We are sad to leave, but are definitely looking forward to our next stay
Be the first to ReplyBest W Hotel Beach Day
Had the best day ever at the W hotel thanks to Ricardo! If you go to the beach area, ask for Ricardo and Francisco, they are the nicest hosts ever and will take care of anything you need. Best service & best day
Be the first to ReplyLoud, unpleasant, outdated. NO.
At $540 a night (wtf?) you're better off in an airbnb with zero amenities. Stayed in 908. SO MUCH STREET NOISE. Zero peace. Wallpaper peeling off, broken dresser, lamp with a broken shade, flickering creepy bathroom sconces with an obvious wiring issue. I had to ask the staff on day 1 of our stay to clean off about an inch of dust from the bathroom fan. Looked like a fur-creature living on the bathroom ceiling. Ugh. And that's just regarding the crappy outdated king room. Firstly: The W doesn't even own the pool or spa they so brazenly advertise. W guests are forbidden on the pool deck after sunset! Found out the hard way guests are also not allowed to simply carry luggage across the pool area to the spa EVEN if you're still paying ($400 for 2 massages) for the spa services. Lest we forget the absolutely psycho of a towel guy who literally screamed at my husband & me when we were making our way peacefully to our massages due to said UNWRITTEN zero-signage baggage rule. He also told us to SHUT UP when we told him we were just going to the spa. Fun/peaceful vibes right? No. Naturally I asked the W staff what the problem is with the AWFUL staff at the pool deck, and the W staff pawned off ALL blame onto a company called Icon (the actual owners of the pool/spa) What in the hell? Don't waste your hard earned $. This whole place needs a serious renovation and the perfume in the lobby almost choked my husband and me. Stay somewhere else.
Be the first to ReplyBest time at the W thanks to Ricardo
Had the best experience at the W, Ricardo really went above and beyond to make our experience worthwhile. The vibe at the pool was great. Food was delicious and overall a great stay Love it here Would highly recommend visiting when you’re in Miami Beach.

Amazing 8 nights stay! Loved so much the whole concept- avant-garde, pioneer design, colors, beautiful rooms/ grounds. Our favorite city- hotels - it’s 3d one after Santiago de Chile and Costa Rica . Always so stylish! Thank you very much to concierge- Brad and Hugo for arranging our holidays and all recommendations- you are stars! Excellent stay- highly recommended for any purpose of your journey!
Be the first to ReplyNice Location; Nice View
Stayed here for two nights while on business in Miami. The hotel is nicely situated on Brickell--walking distance from a lot of conveniences. Note that there is a food truck circle just to the south of the hotel if you want something quick. The pools and the view on the 15th floor are fantastic-and if sun isn't your thing, there's shade available from the surrounding buildings. Linens on the bed and the bed itself are divine. Service from the staff was excellent. I'm not old, but the staff (maybe 20-years old?) working check-in really seemed to treat the job with less formality than one would expect for a hotel of this quality. The shower in my room flooded the bathroom with each use. Luckily the towels are plentiful, but showering made a mess.

The room was spacious, clean, and offered great views of the city. The staff was very professional and efficient. The rooftop bar serves delicious food and cocktails. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay, and we look forward to coming back soon.

I am lifetime Titanium with Marriot, and even with that high loyalty status this happens to me: My wife and I checked in around 5 pm and at soon as we arrive to the room we found the TV in volume 52 in a cartoon channel and there were no TV control on the room, I was sick with fever so the noise was particularly annoying for me and of course I immediately call whatever/whenever and request the control. The communication was not easy because the phone was not operating properly, and it was hard to listed or be listened but finally the gentlemen told me a TV remote will be delivered “right away” Around 20 minutes later still without the control I made a second phone call to whatever/whenever, this time a huge number of apologies were thrown and the promise that the control will be sent “immediately” After another 20 minutes I decided to go to the lobby to get the control, wanted also to leave the room because the high volume was making me crazy. At the lobby more apologies, an internal phone call and the confirmation that the TV remote is on the way, so they tell me I can return now to the room witch I do. After another 20 minutes in the room still without the control I asked my wife to go down and get it because I was not feeling ok for the fever. Her story in the Lobby exactly the same as mine (apologies, explanations, phone call, now you can leave) with the exception that she refused to leave the Lobby without the control, now she does not believe anything the W personnel tell her, so she wait there until finally the control was given to her, one hour and a half after the problem was reported, this is a shame!! The room service was another disastre, but was for another review
Be the first to ReplyA Bit Tired - W Brickell
Being a Titanium and Ambassador member over the past few years I have stayed at a ton of different Marriott properties. The W Brickell didn’t live up to the standard of many other W properties… The property is tired and in desperate need of a renovation. In my room, wallpaper was coming off the wall in multiple areas, the shower head was loose and unadjustable, fixtures were also loose. As far as service, the team was nice but sometimes not overly helpful. The restaurant seemed under staffed and took forever although I will say it was more of a staffing issue. The pool area was nice but the lounge chairs weren’t great and the service was EXTREMELY slow. Overall, there are other Marriott hotels in the area that I feel are better options.

The cool Corner room was amazing. Spacious and very nice view. I loved the room and the location it was amazing. Easy to walk to go shopping and to enjoy other things in Miami. I really enjoyed my stay. It has small park under the hotel. And you can easily walk to restaurants and shops.

Disappointing, not worth the money I've stayed here 3-4 times a year for the past few years, and it is disappointing to say the least. This hotel should be downgraded from a 5 star. They frequently overbook, leading to no punctual check ins (I was let into my room 1.5 hours after check in) They also took 3 hours to bring up our bags, lost one, and never answered the phone. I had to take 3x for toiletries (came a day later.) A man visiting from abroad who had pre paid checking out was charged twice. The front desk attendant gave an explanation that was so ludicrous it was hard to watch. Food takes one hour minimum to get to the adddikt restaurant (note it's clear management is understaffing, the people working there and for the most part at the hotel are warm and kind but being run ragged.) They didn't have bloody Marys or mimosas (???) Finally, good luck getting service at the pool deck. We were there for 3 hours and didn't have one person check in. I spent 1000/night for 2 star service. I'm sure they'll reply with a generic "we're so sorry and we've passed it along to the appropriate teams" which does nothing. As a titanium elite bonvoy member, will not stay here again.
