Tourist Trap that Falsely Advertises Drink Prices
This place is only for women. Men be warned. It is extremely loud, all pink. The food is not good. The menu is a QR code. Bourbon was listed as $14. I had 2. Bill for 2 drinks was $64. Brought to the attention of manager. BS response about the size of the pour which was a lie. There is nothing on the menu about pour sizes and I didn’t order a double. Never going back there and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Be the first to ReplyAs Girly as it Gets!!!!
This is one of the cutest and most girly places I’ve ever seen. They have a Halloween themed cocktail menu and the drinks were incredible. We stopped in mid afternoon and it was quite busy. Everyone that we interacted with was friendly. I saw reviews about middle aged women feeling unwelcome and told to move from their table and sent outside. We are also in that demographic but did not feel that way at all. The hostess clearly informed us upon entry that if we were not eating and/or did not have a reservation then it was first come, first serve at the bar and outside. All of the tables have little reserved signs on them for people dining or who have a resy. This is not a policy they just say to older people. All ages were there from little girls, to teens, to the bachelorette groups, to the moms (us), to the grandmothers…and even a few guys. This was a great little pitstop on our day out and about in Nashville!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious brunch
I had a great brunch here, smoked salmon biscuit. Lovely decor and atmosphere. No hot tea unfortuately and an issue with the coffee machine. I guess most people order alcohol! Popular for bachelorettes.
Be the first to ReplyNot nice
The hostess staff was condescending to our group over the age of 50. We sat a table and was redirected to sit at the bar. Rude and unfriendly The bartender was ok.
Be the first to ReplyExtremely rude hostess
We were a group of 50+ women who were greeted by a very rude hostess & bouncer who attempted to banish us to the outside (we believe based on our age) until a very nice bartender stepped in. We were so incredibly rudely welcomed! Beware anyone over 35!
Be the first to ReplyGood for a cocktail in the sun.
We went early so hardly anyone there. So easy to get a drink and a seat. The mesh figure of Dolly doesn’t really look like her ( in my opinion ) but who cares. Great wee spot for photos and nice vibe. Worth a visit
Be the first to ReplyOverrated
I found this place to be very overrated. A few dolly fans in the group we figured this was a must - but like other reviews mention there is nothing dolly about this place. Some cute photo opts but that’s about it. A lot smaller than anticipated. We were seated at a couch with low table - so awkward to eat our food. We found the hostess and some of the other staff quite rude. While the food and drinks were quite good - it was expensive. I wouldn’t return.
Be the first to Replyso/so
As a huge Dolly fan I wanted to check this place out while in Nashville. Upon arrival the hostess was very rude and miserable. I had previously booked table but was seated on probably the worst table in there. The burger I had was overpriced but very delicious as were the fries. My Husband thought his was so/so. Although its a very "instrgramable" place that is pretty much all it is, People taking pictures. It is not Dolly Themed at all aside from the pink model of her and a few pictures. Music is very, very poor. Atmosphere is dull and staff the unfriendliest from all the places I visited in Nashville, probably down to poor management. All in all its good for pictures, food is quite nice if you want to pay over the odds for it, but a dull atmosphere. I'm glad I've seen it but I wouldn't return.
Be the first to ReplyIf you want to be out of almost $700 on vacation, book here
Wow, where do I even begin. For starters, I’ve never once written a bad review, and with that being said, do NOT book at this place. We had reservations at Governors Pool for the beginning of our trip on Thursday, June 5th. An hour before our reserved time slot, they text us saying they will be having maintenance and there will be a lot of noise disturbance. We had a two options, to get a full refund or to reschedule, so we decided to reschedule for the next day. Immediately after, we received a second charge for 393 dollars, which the cardholder did NOT authorize and was significantly higher than our original booking cost of 262. Upon seeing this, we reached out via text questioning why we received a another charge and why it was so high. We stated we wanted a refund at this point because we were not paying for an inconvenience they had caused us. We heard nothing from them for the rest of the day. The next morning they responded that they refunded us and since Friday morning (6/2/2023), we’ve heard nothing back. In fact, they texted us that they ended our conversation. As of Monday June 5th, the refund for the unauthorized double charge for almost 400 dollars was posted (which is wild) but not for our original booking. Throughout our whole vacation weekend, the cardholder, my best friend, was out 655. There is no one to get a hold of because apparently Governor’s Pool is handled through Resy and is a separate business from the hotel. So, the hotel isn’t able to help us and were not able to get in contact with anyone about the 262 dollars they said they were refunding. It feels as though we were scammed and taken advantage of and it’s sad that we have to jump through this many hoops to get our money back. As of today, Wednesday June 7th we have not been able to get a hold of anyone and we have not gotten refunded for our booking. Who represents this place? We should’ve listened when we heard from locals this place has a bad reputation. Im so disappointed I even have to sit and type this. And to White Limozeen and Graduate Hotels, were still waiting for this to be made right.
Be the first to ReplyDon’t spend anything here, rude staff ruins the business
Extremely rude staff ! Waiter could not Seve us drinks whilst we were seated. Clearly a place for pictures, not for any quality or service. In a year time this place will be completely rundown. Please hire other staff or you can better close the place. It ruins your business.
Be the first to ReplyDolly amazing, White Limizeen not!
The best part of this place is the lobby of The Graduate! Most of my photos are of the lobby. Drinks are expensive and SWEET! Food, eat before you go. Most people were not eating there. Now we understand why. Not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed
We had a reservation for White Limozzine which honors Dolly Parton. It was beautiful. The hostess was rude, the server was average. Hostess and other employee were talking crap about customers. Dolly Parton does not own this restaurant, but such a bad reflection on what she stands for. I would never go back, nor recommend. There was not one nice employee. No one smiled or seemed to like their jobs.
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointing
Rude and non accommodating service. My wife and I had reservations later that night, but just got in and needed a bite to hood us over. Was told outside seating had no bar service. Saw the same waiter taking orders from a large group 10 minutes later and serving them. Food not allowed outside. They have a good sized bar, with four chairs. If you don’t have a chair, no food. Hi tops are for reservations only. 1 table had a couple. Others were and remained empty while we had our one mediocre drink. Plenty of other options nearby.
Be the first to ReplyTOO LOUD and VERY RUDE
My friend and I were excited to get a last minute reservation for dinner at the White Limozeen on a Sunday evening in October. The music (a DJ) was BLARING! We asked if there was a quieter area in the restaurant or if the music could be turned down a bit. So we explained it was simply too loud for us so we left. The next day my friend who had made the reservation was charged a $80 NO SHOW fee on her credit card (which was required at the time to make a reservation. She called the restaurant for two days and left several VM - no call back. She sent an email explaining that we did show up but left because of the noise level. It took several days for someone to respond to her email. We were so very disappointed! The decor is cute but if you are over 40 and want a place where you can talk at dinner - this is not the place you want to be. There is nothing that warrants music that is 20 year old decibel loud in a restaurant! Come on Dolly… I doubt you would want to take your friends to a dinner where you can’t hear the person sitting next to you! I just feel sorry for the staff …. they will definitely suffer hearing loss in the future. We will not be back! 😥
Be the first to ReplyWorst experience ever
We spent $1300 .. a minimum cost to reserve a lounge are seating . Funny how you can save 200 if you order 5 days in advance and if you don’t have your order in before you arrive they charge you $50 … they want to move you in and out like a cash cow . FYI YOU EAT OFF YOUR LAP AND Have TO SIT ON The FLOOR . I’ve been to lounges and they TABLES . The manger on duty on 11/5/22 was unprofessional and her go to excuse was Erin was the one who booked it … who has someone in charge who throws someone under the bus for a horrible experience. We had piled up dirty dishes on a coffee table that know one cleared , I had my food on the DJ’s table ( who was so nice ) so I could cut my $150 cold meal . 3 Bathroom stalls … no toilet paper and we had to hold the door shut on one because the door was broken . Shame onDolly Parton for having her name attached to a poorly, money grubbing restaurant. My daughters bachelorette dinner was ruined . Worst restaurant and experience our entire weekend in Nashville ….. stay away and spend your money elsewhere.!!!!!!!
Be the first to ReplyPleasantly Surprised
What a cute place! They open reservations at midnight 14 days in advance. That was easy to snag a reservation. The place is ABSOLUTELY adorable. We had great service and the brunch items were delightful. Seeing other reviews I was cautious about visiting but so glad I did. Our host and waitress were really nice and checked in regularly. I liked that we went early so got to take pics and admire to beauty. There were also 2 pop ups in the lobby so it was a nice treat to shop too.
Be the first to ReplyDinner and drinks
We were so excited to go there for a special celebration. The mixed drinks were way overpriced and the food was mediocre. A margarita on rocks and crown royal with tip- $50. Both bartenders were bitchy and were more concerned with chatting with each other then serving you. No Dolly Parton music was played- it’s suppose to be her signature bar. One iconic bust of her was on patio. I wouldn’t bother. Looks like Dolly had nothing to do with this place. No stars.
Be the first to ReplyOver 30 Dolly fan….not worth it
If you are a Dolly fan, over 30, want a good meal….not your scene. Over priced drinks I had one drink and with tip, tax…$23 for a tiny ice filled cocktail not worth it. There are no Dolly things. We were there for just over an hour saw no one order food. Great view from patio was the only reason.
Be the first to ReplySad
I thought the rooftop opened at 2. When we arrived at the top, we were rudely informed they did not open until 3. I even got an eye roll and then proceeded to give me the stare down from the bartender. I was left feeling very unwelcomed and made to feel as a nuisance. There will be no pics taken at the White Limozen. There is a way to address the customers and this was not it. How disappointing when you travel so far just to enjoy a drink and get a photo op. My excitement was ruined by a man who obviously hates his job and it shows!!!
Be the first to ReplyTerrible food!!
The server was very good but the food is terrible. Do not go there if you are looking to have a nice night with your girls that includes meal.
Be the first to ReplyDON’T GO THERE
I live in nashville and I have been to a lot of tourist places, since I work in a hotel and I need to give recommendations. This is the worst place I have been!!! It seems that they got the food from the frozen meal aisle! We had 2 drinks, one appetizer and one entree, and it turned out to be $100! Terrible! We went to the restaurant next door to finish eating! The service was amazing but I feel bad about the people that work there
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed
Very disappointed in the venue. Nothing reflected Dolly. No Dolly memorizable, no one new whose pictures were on the wall, loud music, younger crowd.food just ok. Wait staff nice.
Be the first to ReplyA PICTURE PERFECT PROPOSAL! 😍
I have to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the staff at White Limozeen y’all were absolutely AMAZING today! To know that he threw this on y’all after we walked in the door…. Y’all ALL made this absolutely UNFORGETTABLE! Especially our waitress Courtney (and I hope I’m spelling it right🥴) Girl you killed it! I seriously had NO IDEA! The food was wonderful and drinks were always amazing! We were staying at Graduate Nashville so we ended up making 3 trips up while we were there! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ❤️
Be the first to ReplyWhere all the young girls are!
Overrated! Everything under construction, not owned by Dolly Parton. Not the friendliest people that work there, but if you love pink definitely check it out.
Be the first to ReplyNot very Dolly
Underwhelming. We expected a Dolly vibe. My daughter said it was more a Golden Girls esthetic than Dolly. The music should be Dolly and women singers. No uniforms for the workers and plastic dishes and “glass” ware. Only thing real was the cutlery. I ordered the veggie hash and it was very bland. My daughter liked her eggs Benedict with impossible sausage. The cheese board was good but maybe add some crackers in addition to the 5 small pieces of bread. We each had a drink which was good. And that head of Dolly on the patio is very strange looking. Not a place we’d ever go again.
