Cool place in the Marina
A cool place in the Marina where you can have fun with friends. I saw videos on envibe and really wanted to try all the dishes there. We went to Wilder, and it was the best girls day out!

Been wanting to try this place and finally had the opportunity to on Friday. Although we missed Happy Hour which ends at 6:30pm, our waitress Linore (who was AWESOME by the way) said they were still serving $1.50 oysters. My friend and I love oysters, so we ordered a dozen each to start. What a deal; the oysters were HUGE! With our oysters, I ordered a dirty martini which was perfectly made; my friend ordered their version of an espresso martini. Two drinks in, we are ready for dinner which consisted of the pork chop (skipped the mash and replaced with sauteed veggies for no additional cost) and my friend ordered the ribeye. Both entrees were tasty and boasted a hearty serving. The ribeye was a little on the thin side and cooked well although she requested medium, but it was tasty, nevertheless. For dessert we went with the Wilder Surprise which was basically an apple tart. Loved this place and would totally come back. The food and drinks are good, and service was excellent despite how busy they were. Linore was very attentive and checked in on us several times. Thereโs a big bar area, with lots of tables indoors and outdoors (with heaters). Looking forward to heading back here again.

We ordered and said we would share a meal after out appetizers and drinks. Waiter who had problems forming a sentence suggested steak special, they deceptively didn't mention that the special was 150 dollar steak instead of usual 30. We were two people and the special easily was for 4.
This place has to close down if they have to cheat customers . By the way we ordered medium well and it came out basically raw. Look at picture.
Asked for a box they give a mini box.
Waiters can't speak English very well and ruined experience . I assume the cook can't speak English well or cook a basic meal on what a customer wants
LA takeover in SF
Made reservations through Wilder's website for our short SF trip over LDW. Found Wilder SF on Yelp and while they had less than 50 reviews, they were mainly 4-5 stars and pictures appealed to the brunch vibe I was looking for. Ran a little late from hotel check-in and added an additional guest to brunch. When I called, the person who took my call was very kind and accommodating and said she would be able to make adjustments for us. I was extremely grateful for considering my last minute request over a holiday weekend in a Covid-19 world. We were seated outside, our server was funny and personable, but also direct and succinct with getting our drink and food orders. He made appropriated jokes and banter (like the frose machine down being equivalent to McDonald's ice cream machines) and another person who dropped off our second round of drinks said, "Cheers! Hope your team loses" as he walked away which was hilarious to us as we were clearly Dodgers fans with our hats/apparel. Good vibes, good spot to people watch, and the food and drinks were delicious. Food and drinks = 4/5; service and vibes = 5/5. Check them out if you're looking for a chill, fun space for Sunday brunch.
