The food is next level.
OmG please try ceviche 3 ways! It will take you to a whole new world. Our server, Santiago, is the man! Gave us great suggestions as first time guest. Ask for him he's awesome! Oooooh make sure you check out the sangria. amazing !!!! Not overly sweet and ooooh super fruity. The seafood rice.... I don't think I've growled over food before. This is too good. Atmosphere- no matter where you look there's something to see. I personally am in love with the goddess.

Ok this place is great!! Best yuca and ceviche in Miami City area. I was visiting Miami with my family and my bosses family, just occurred to me inviting them to a bit of Miami culture cuisine wouldn't hurt, came out to be the best decision and food we had all week long in Miami. You must order their trio ceviche and filled/top tostones, so yummy! Their drinks are also great, must have the guava mojito. Service and Ambiance were also very good and nice. However, the reason for rating is the awkward and bad experience of noticing how our shoes all started getting soaked and wet!!! Yes, a storm started, streets outside overflowed and somehow came down like a river into the restaurant!! ....it was definitely an experience we'll never forget, it was definitely embarrassing for us all so as it was out of our control, we decided to laugh about it all and crawl through the seats on our way out. So why the rating? ...the restaurant and/or manager could have at least come out to apologize! A discount for the inconvenience would have also been nice, but none happened, just the awkward uncomfortable feelings and disappointments were left. I will still go again because of their food and ambiance and with hopes next time they have secured any possible ways for water to get in.

We loved the ceviche, and the lechon and lomo saltado were amazing

First off, they make the best mojito I've ever had and it's not close. The ropas viejas, Lechon Asado and El Norteno were perfect. It was the best Cuban food I've ever had, hands down.

We had a fantastic dinner last night on the patio at Yuca 105. Our waitress did a great job making recommendations. The pisco/mojito combo drink was a great cocktail. Thoroughly enjoyed the ceviche traditional and octopus appetizer followed by the combo dessert. It was enough for dinner for 2 and we didn't even order an entree. 6 stars for food & service!

My first meal in Miami Beach was not a disappointment at all - after a long delayed flight from freezing Chicago with nothing but airplane peanuts in me, walking into this restaurant was a refreshing and beautiful start to a vacation. The decor is stunning and deserves its own review for the amazing work the restaurant owners had put into getting it up there. But I'm not decorations reviewer - this is about the food and service. The servers were all so friendly and will always greet you with a big smile that say, "I hope you're having a great time!" Now, I'm forgetting the dish names off the top of my head and they're a bit hard to recall, so I'll do it by some obvious descriptors in the pictures. The nuts and chips in the cup were a savory treat to keep us busy before the main course came out. It was a nice, unique Peruvian snack that I've never had. The corn and nut with seafood mix was the traditional meal you see from what I've heard. It comes with a sour taste and the seafood had soaked in the flavor. This place was a solid introduction into the cuisine available in Miami, and I would definitely return.

Highly recommend! So delicious! Nice atmosphere! I'd been at a conference and made some new acquaintances, and we all needed a light meal at the end of the day. I love seafood (I work in ocean conservation and seafood policy, so yeah, give me that delicious sustainably-sourced and nutritious seafood!!!) so a new Miami Beach resident recommended we go to Yuca 105. We were seated immediately and ordered Inca Kolas, which has a wonderful cream soda flavor and a bright yellow coloring. Then my table ordered several appetizers and similar to share. When the food arrived, I was in heaven. We had citrusy ceviche, guava doused salmon with avocado, delicious tuna tartar, and the first octopus dish I've ever liked: roasted octopus maki. It was all amazing, perfect for sharing, and I hope work sends me back to Miami Beach just so I can eat here again! And for three people who split their order three ways at a nice enough restaurant, it was under $40 for each of us including with the addition of a decent tip for the great staff!

We went here two years ago and had to go back now that we were in Miami again. It was just as good the second time. The service is great. We had Luz as a server. She had a sparkling personality and made our night special. We had a traditional tiradito which was similar to a Crudo or a ceviche. It was very good. Then the star of the night was the octopus. It was so tender!! We also had the Vaca Frita. It was nice a crispy on the edges. I would have preferred less lime but I am sensitive to it. My husband loved it!!! Then our server gave us a special dessert that I can't remember the name but it had an Oreo cookie in the middle. It was so good!! I also had a Paloma, extra spicy and with tequila. I was great. I highly recommend this place.

Food and service was great, definitely recommend, will return the next time I am in south beach
Be the first to ReplyLove the food, good service, solid value for south beach.
Get the Tacu Tacu! The pisco sour is also good.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was amazing and the servers were very attentive.
The ambience was nice as well. We really enjoyed the octopus appetizer! It was extremely flavorful and the best bite of the night. The entrees were huge portions and were well cooked. The ropa vieja was a bit salty but everything was tasty. I really enjoyed the Paloma (which was nonalcoholic and made with tequila syrup)

Never had such great food and amazing service. Everything was perfect not a single complaint

Look. I went in there for lobster. I feel like I got taken to the street as the waitress recommended a dish and not only was the lobster steamed dry with no flavor, it was over $100! Shame on me for not checking first but wholy smokes. Go to Mables in Maine for a killer lobster and less expensive

My hubs and I were craving Peruvian food and came across this Peruvian-Cuban fusion that did not disappoint. Mauricio and Hugo gave us phenomenal customer service, very attentive, recommended the specials and best sellers: the pulpo and the huancaina Rissoto. Also, the restaurant's vibe was perfect, it was not crowded when we went for lunch.
Be the first to ReplyYuca was beautiful and we had amazing service, even though
Yuca was beautiful and we had amazing service, even though it was Christmas Eve and we were a big group! They have great cocktails and variety of food. I would highly recommend the lomo dish as it's one of the main Peruvian dishes, the meat was so tender. The churrasco we got was not tender as the lomo was, which is not unusual when you get churrasco at a Peruvian place. Many rave about the coco chupao, they said it's some of the best they've had and it had great chunks of seafood. We were too entertained to take photos but if you love chandeliers and extraness, this is your spot.

Be the first to ReplyWhat a pleasant surprised.
First time visiting Miami and walked into a gem. Ceviche was incredible and the passion en varedero martini may be the best drink I've had. DO NOT walk past this place.
Be the first to ReplyI had the seafood which was authentic and delicious.
The fried rice was good too - little but salty but still good. Our server Santiago was fantastic, it was our first dinner in Miami and he made such a great impression. So friendly and funny as well. Thank you.

Delicious food and excellent service! First, this place is beautiful. We were in love with how beautifully it is decorated. The servers were very informative and knowledgeable on the food. They were quick to offer suggestions and they did not disappoint! My favorite dishes were the Yuca 105 Acevichado, Chaufa Mix, and the Tacu Tacu is a MUST HAVE. We will definitely be back when we visit again.
