Agnes restaurant & cheesery Pasadena Reviews
We went there last friday.
Food was great. Service was subpar. We made reservation, they sat us late. Took a while for server to come. We picked our wine, got our appetizers, and our wine still didn't come. We tried to flag down our waiter but she pretty much made no eye
There is parking a few blocks away at a few structures.
Street parking is much harder to come by. Had brunch and made a reservation for when the restaurant opened. We were seated promptly. The servers and staff were all very nice and attentive. We were checked on multiple times throughout the meal. Th
Food was amazing.
However, they do not course it out. They reassured they would so that we can place our full order. It was huge disappointment when all dishes came out all at once, even before the kids's food. Kids devoured our food and they barely ended up touc

Agnes is for sure one of the best restaurants in Pasadena.
I came with 2 of my girl friends and we had a great time. Make sure to book a reservation though. The ambience (especially the outdoor seating) is very cozy and inviting. The menu is super creative and everything we ordered was delicious. I highly re

A Cheesery in Pasadena?! Yes please! Agnes is a restaurant, cheesery, and has a cute little marketplace at the front of the restaurant that you must check out! At the top of my list to order were their Cornbread Eclairs, and they did not disappoint!

Cheesy
We ate here on our 23rd wedding anniversary. Parking is a little difficult on a Saturday night. There is very little street parking, and the nearby lots want $15.00 to park all day. We did find a street spot, and Pasadena doesn't charge for par

Best food. Worst service
Doors didn’t open until 11:30, which was fine for our lunch. You order at the counter, and they want a tip up front. My policy s to leave a tip at the end of my meal, but the cashier was resistant to any cash in the restaurant. My review is mixed.
Cheese BUT NO WINE?
I had high expectations of this place per the reviews. The place is cozy nice and inviting. Service is less than desirable. Staff is nice pleasant but in the 45 minutes we were there our wine NEVER arrived after inquiring. May be to enjoy the cha
Amazing food quality
Absolutely blown away by the food quality, especially the cheese plate and the pork chop entree. It's a great spot for a date or to kick off a night on the town. I will definitely be going back when I'm in town again.
Good Food, Friendly Service
We had dinner at Agnes another couple. The food was good, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was creative but loud. As other reviewers have said, the restaurant is expensive and a 4% surcharge is tacked on (it's clearly stated on the menu)

We are from Palm Springs and San Diego. Two women out for a Pasadena lovely time for sightseeing, shopping, dining and kindling our friendship (73 and 56! Yrs old) for two nights. We can write reams on the pleasant time we had and the magnificent f

Small portions (average quality), greatly overpriced
Well, this is only my second time I write a restaurant review, but let say that I was inspired. The first time I reviewed a restaurant was because it was really good. This time, unfortunately not. We ordered their half&half board (cheese+salami p

Gotta Love Cheese!
Met our son at Agnes recently and this was the second time we visited there. It was a little chilly but we decided to eat out on the covered patio anyways. It turned out to be comfortable with the gas heaters near by. My wife decided to have the BLT
I travel for work and this week took me to Pasadena.

I could give 6 stars to this place if that was possible.

They say that the third time is a charm but I am not sure there will be a next time. The first time we visited- drinks and apps were delicious! But this time around we went to Agnes on a Thursday evening at 7pm, had to wait 20 min for our reservation
Sat at the bar.
Bartender had great advice and was attentive but not pushy. Loved the tinned fish, mousse cornbread, and Prosecco cocktail. Can't wait to return.

Had a lovely Sunday brunch out on their patio seating area.
The food was delicious and the service was superb; very attentive "all hands on deck" team and they were very kind to our pup. Thank you :)
We had such a beautiful lunch on Saturday.
We started with tater tots. We shared the salmon Ceasor salad which was perfectly prepared. We also had the Cuban sandwich and the quiche. Each dish was delicious. We ended our meal with the sweet, buttery pancakes. This beautiful restaurant knows ho

Amazing place with delicious pasta, cocktails and stuff! The best pasta I've ever tried.
I don't know y'all.
We've been coming here since they first opened their doors and slowly but surely, each return visit has been worse than the one before. The wine and cheese are wonderfully reliable, but everything else (brunchy items, desserts, snackadoodles) feel so

Underwhelmed by the brunch food but the ambience and cocktails were great. So torn between 3 and 4 stars. I would say 3.5 because it wasn't horrible... I would give it a second chance and go back to try dinner or buy something at their little shop as
Good on cheeses
We had afternoon cocktails and snacks here and thorougly enjoyed the selection of surprisingly potent and tasty American cheeses. The cocktails were quite diverse and, al always, far too small. Prices rather steep. Service helpful and knowledgable.
