Dry and tough wagyu beef!
Executive lunch sets and we chose the wagyu sandwich, Miyazaki wagyu and the wagyu don with onsen egg. The wagyu was shockingly tough on the don and very dry. The rice is normal white rice. Nothing unusual. The sandwich was literally 3 small pieces of bread with a slice of beef in there. All 3 sets came up to $320!!! What a rip off for the quality. The complimentary car park coupon didn't work at all and we were charged $5.50 and more than $7 for 2 cars. The restaurants refused to refund the car park though it promised complimentary car park. Just an hour of ripped off lunch. Poor service and we didn't even have a drink included only a glass of ice water in the so called Michelin restaurant. Don't waste your money. For this price you get a lot of omakase choices in town!
Be the first to ReplyQuiet Intimate Service and Dinner, outstanding food
Fantastic service, great food, quiet ambiance. The location is in a strange place, feels like you are coming to a hospital or some large building. The restaurant is tucked on the side. Other than the location and having to navigate outside the main area to a restroom, we had a fantastic experience. Great food, highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet intimate setting and great food.

Be the first to ReplyLove the food here, as always. Will always return even after many visits!
Excellent food as always. Had appetisers, donburis, desserts, sake. Fantastic food, so delicious and yummy. Service was also very good. Been to Fat Cow many times and it has never disappoint. ๐๐
Be the first to ReplyDining discount voucher not honoured despite taking all my personal details!!!
Was offered a 25% discount if I registered with TriplePlus. Gave ALL my personal details. Upon arrival, was told that they didnโt have my birthday. I updated my details at which point they said I wouldnโt receive my voucher for another 24 hours. To be clear, I booked this restaurant a week ago and signed up for the promotion at that time too. Left a very sour taste in my mouth. I was duped into signing up for a loyalty scheme, giving away my personal details and was not given a discount voucher at the end of it all. Do not offer deals you cannot honour. Terrible service. Worst of all, it was my celebratory birthday dinnerโฆ
Be the first to ReplyBirthday Lunch at Fat Cow
Celebrated my son's 21st with lunch at Fat Cow. Fabulous Japanese cuisine. Attentive service. Decent portions for prices paid. Thank you Mr Lim and JC for your personalized service.
Be the first to ReplyWagyu Omasake
The service and ambience was awesome, from reservation, reception to serving. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food needless to say was awesome! Chef Shingo and his assistants were really skilled and amazing! They actually spend time and effort in preparation & plating, even explaining each dish before serving. Everything in the menu was good. But my favourite were the Wara Smoked Wagyu Sashimi and the charcoal-grilled yakiniku style wagyu with burdock sauce and not forgetting the amazing sake-paring!! My favourite were the Nikko Homare Daiginjo & the Nanbubijin Tokubetsu Junmai! Lastly, was surprised with the complimentary gift and the birthday dessert! So thoughtful of them! Really appreciate the kind gesture! Highly recommended!! Pricey but really worth it!

Been here 3 times, first with husband, then kids and then the larger family. Every meal is amazing and I am salivating thinking of it. Portion is not large but sufficient for Asian appetite. Great service.
Be the first to ReplyA great Japanese steakhouse in Singapore!
From the excellent service to the stand out food, Fat Cow is definitely a restaurant to try out. A great atmosphere to celebrate an occasion or even to have a meet up with friends. And whilst the main focus of the restaurant is beef, for myself and my family, we certainly agree that the range of vegetable sides were fantastic to have alongside (especially the Kinoko). I will absolutely come back again whenever I return to Singapore. Thank you Fat Cow for providing great service and food for myself and my family.
Be the first to ReplyEnjoyed the lunch immensely.
Lovely delicious food and they were so kind as to provide my child a complimentary scoop of honeycomb ice cream. Great food and service.

Food is good, but service is incredibly below par - and not nice. Even at a mid level price range that would be bad, but at that very high price tag, this is really not acceptable

Be the first to ReplyDelicious Gyu !
The wagyu beef and fioe gra are best combination. Taste wonderful and very satisfying. My husband is very pleased with his "FatCowSignature" dish. However, he only has 2 small cubes of fioe gra and 6 slices of beef. It will be nice to have at lease 8 slices of beef and 5 cubes of fioe gra.

Be the first to ReplyTo have birthday lunch yet ended up disappointing
Reservation 19 Feb 12pm and 11:45am arrival was said to only enter at 12pm so have to wait outside standing till opening hours. Yet the restaurant have restricted timing for first seating. I was very disppointed to such treatment. So informed reception to cancel the booking even though we were already at the door step. Unacceptable rudeness with no apology etc when we informed to cancel booking. Terrible service for five star restaurant.

Mindblowing experience with probably the best Wagyu meat I ever had. Skilled Chefs prepare the food at its perfection
Be the first to ReplyService no longer as good as it used to be
Went there for a weekday lunch at 12 noon. Service was very rushed. Mains came before even halfway through appetizers. Ice cream scoop dessert was served frozen and too hard. The service was too rushed even though the restaurant was not even half full. Food was average. We used to love Fat Cow but I think we dont go back again and wonโt recommend anymore.
Be the first to ReplyFlor was amazing!
Amazing experience with Flor, she was kind patient and really helpful, definitely made my day. Huge thank you and great job :)
Be the first to ReplyMixed elements, but ultimately disappointing
Hard to review as has outstanding elements (wagyu & desserts), but several letdowns. The great starts with the beef, as both the A5 & aged cuts were truly melt in the mouth (no chewing required). My wife loved the cold udon & we all really enjoyed the desserts (yuzu cheesecake & matcha lava cake). The rest of the food was ok, but not great (for the price). Both the Sashimi & croquette were disappointing; while the sides Okra, peppers, asparagus & mushroom dishes ok, though โfish flossโ was overused on several dishes. Ambiance was a real negative. We sat in general population, which I would avoid unless you want staff cleaning & drying cutlery noisily near you (itโs a soulless place). Choose the main chefโs table which feels much better & beef prep is on your table. I hear the Chefโs Table Omakase is better than our ร la carte. Overall, when you spend $900 for 3 people (no alcohol) & walk away thinking that was meh, thatโs not a positive.
Be the first to ReplyLoved the Wagyu
My Fiance and I were craving Wagyu. I must say it didn't disappoint. We will definitely visit again!
Be the first to ReplyA Steak Lover's Paradise
This peculiar restaurant is truly a steak lover's paradise. In addition to chargrilled beef, this Japanese steakhouse offers shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, sandwiches, and rice bowls. This amazing selection of top meat is sure to please Wagyu beef connoisseurs. Even better, you can see your meal being prepared from your counter seat!
Be the first to ReplyShould try at least once
We ordered the Tojiki, Miyazaki, a bowl of mushrooms and the fat rice. The Tojiki is juicier but the Miyazaki is more enjoyable through the tastebud journey. Reason being is that the Miyazaki first touches you with a taste of fats, then brings you on a smooth and well-marbled journey of both the meat and marbling, with a smooth ending as well. The Tojiki has more marbling but very enjoyable as well.
Be the first to ReplyNot as good as I thought it would be
Heard quite a lot of good things about this restaurant and decided to try it. The food was average and not value for money. We tried both the normal beef don and the wagyu beef don. The wagyu beef don was about twice the price of the normal beef don. Although the beef was much nicer tasting, the portion was quite small. You are better off buying a premium piece of beef and cooking it yourself. The normal beef was not a good cut and was tough on some parts. The rice was nicely drenched in truffle oil, making it fragrant and tasty. However, overall it was a big disappointment.
Be the first to ReplyPlease donโt bring anyone here for omakase
Really bad omakase. The first 4 courses were not good, the okonomiyaki was left out too long and the wagyu tartar too salty to be edible The sukiyaki was reasonable but the wagyu was not quality enough, with a weird flavour. Was sick afterwards and I wonder if it was the meat Had to tell waitress halfway about the quality and she said my feedback didnโt matter the second time I canโt imagine ever coming back again. This isnโt a place you should bring dates family or clients
