High Tide Seafood Bar & Grill Chandler Reviews from The Last Year

Once again an amazing restaurant experience ruined by under qualified hostess. We made anniversary reservations for my parents, they love this location. We reserved in advance a booth because it's a better experience to be seated away from other people. They got there one host said they were cleaning the booth. Awesome my parents sit down and wait, another host comes up and takes them to a table. My parents say they requested and were waiting for a booth. The host snapped back and said NO BOOTHS ARE AVAILABLE, and drops their menus at a table in the middle of the busy isle way and walked away. Meanwhile 3 booths directly across from them are empty.

The quality of the food is good and the portions are generous. Nice wine selection. Comfortable environment with a relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent, very attentive. Quite pricey so for me this is not a regular stop but instead a good special occasion location.
Consistently great food and service.
Great atmosphere and perfect for small or large groups. There are food choices for everyone even the non-seafood fans. Worth your hard earned dining dollars.
We came to High Tide for happy hour and it was packed.
We had a reservation, but we Said they could give our table to someone ordering dinner and we would sit at the bar. The restaurant is quite large, and the bar area has all high top tables Our server was very helpful-- when we ordered the ceviche, she let us know that their ceviche is a little different from most, and offered to bring us a sample. That was much appreciated! We ordered ahi poke tostada's (yummmm), fried Calamari, and ceviche. Along with our cocktails, we left with full bellies!

Went here to celebrate a graduation and the experience was amazing! Our server (Justin) was knowledgeable about gluten free allergies, explained how each dish could be altered, and took extra precautions to ensure no cross-contamination. He was also incredibly attentive the whole night and hilarious as well. We had the filet mignon with king crab legs, the halibut special, and the ahi tuna for the main meals, and shrimp cocktail and nigiri for appetizers. The seafood was probably the freshest we have had in the East Valley! Overall, an incredible experience and will definitely return for special occasions!
The service was top shelf.
The atmosphere was casual and excellent. The food was eh. I got lobster bisque because I always get it if it is on a menu. I was not good. They clearly didn't make it themselves. At least I hope not. Tasted like Costco bisque...too much butter... should be using lobster butter not butter out of the fridge... the paprika tasted like Mexican not Hungarian. Big mistake harshes the back of your pallet with the cream. I am extremely good at making this dish because it is my favorite, so I am a bit picky, but my girlfriend at the table ordered it too and only had a few bites of hers. I needed only two to let it set. She ordered and liked their crab dip. I had one serving and wouldn't order it again. Their coke was perfectly calibrated and my friend had a tequila sunrise which she reported was fantastic. It's been over week since I was there so I forget what else I ordered now, but it clearly wasn't memorable. I have no desire to go back, unless it is to give them my recipe for lobster bisque.

Service was very good here! Very attentive and friendly.
Calamari was good - we ordered ours well done. My husband had the sea bass and enjoyed it. He kept commenting on how much he liked the risotto. I ordered the fish and chips. My fish was hot and fluffy. Very filling. I loved the mixed fries (regular & sweet potato). We also tried the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was not my favorite but my husband liked it since it was really rich. It was not loud in the restaurant, and there was space between tables so you had privacy. We'd come back to try more dishes.
