We love staying here, You have to book golf through the hotel they access to amazing local course. The rooms are great and the food and drinks in the living room bar are top notch.

temp of my room was to warm and on the first floor near the drive that delivery trucks, trash trucks etc access resulted in noise early in the morning

overall, i rate the facility 4.5 what prevents me from rating it higher is the price of a room. I feel that it is slightly overpriced
Lovely Accomodations
While my stay was for a work-related event, it was a lovely setting with an even lovelier room where it felt as if I was coming into a wonderful, cozy, inviting master bedroom. I did take advantage and went for a massage and dry sauna bath at the onsite spa. KELLY KING was my masseuse and she was incredible. Her hands were those of a healer.

The L’Auberge is wonderful! A beautiful resort with friendly staff, great food, and an incredible spa. Kelly King was just lovely and truly is a miracle worker masseuse. The rooms were very clean and well kept. Definitely would recommend!

Had a wonderful time staying here for my Birthday Weekend. The location is so beautiful and the food is excellent. Everyone was friendly and very helpful in all areas. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic location - not so fantastic restaraunt
We visited our son and his girlfriend in DelMar. The hotel was wonderful - clean rooms, comfy pillows and the staff was beyond fantastic. Onky complaint would be the restaurant - Adelaide - I would not recommend eating there - the food and drinks were expensive and sub par at best. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay!
Beautiful location, underwhelming property
I travel for work regularly and stay in 4-5 star hotels regularly. I just left an Auberge property in CT which was exceptional and expected to arrive at L'Auberge and have the same experience. It was night and day. The L'Auberge Del Mar has a stunning location - there are water views from pretty much every common area. The hotel itself is run down and in need of a renovation. The pool area was unstaffed while i was there and they just let the bottles, towels and old food pile up throughout the day. It felt like a Motel 6 pool with a really nice view. I had a kind sized room with a partial ocean view which was lovely, but the balcony was really dirty and hadn't been cleaned in some time. The lobby is nice and the restaurant is good, but the overall experience was subpar. Staff was helpful and hospitable throughout.
Spa Experience
I had a wonderful spa massage from a team member named America. We had a good conversation and she was very professional and accommodating. One of the best and relaxing massages I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend getting a massage from America. I will definitely come back.
Perfect Mothee’s Day weekend getaway
It was nice to untether from our car and make our way to the beach and restaurants all within short walking distance.
Needs polishing
lobby / restuarant / bar area great. Pool chairs old and uncomfortable, elevator needs to be remodeled, shower water temperature all over the place, food average.
Beautiful place, in a prime location.
A few detail's neglected that would have made our personal comfort better. Noise levels inside our room(refrigerator, lightning, bathroom heater) as well as have a room next to parking lot made our stay sleepless.

The front desk host Hadia treated us great, upgraded our room from fire place ocean front single room to ocean front fire place suite. The room was very nice and clean! Service at hotel was excellent. The food was perfect at the restaurant. Location to beach and some best in class restaurants is all in walking distance!
Noisy annoying hotel
The hotel hosts loud parties that keep you awake very late! The staff did nothing to quiet the party. The noise really ruined the stay which was supposed to be a peaceful getaway on the ocean.
Relaxing 3 days
Excellent service from beginning to end. Super clean and bright room with wonderful resort amenities. Close to the beach and great walks.
I had a great experience here, until the lobby bartender
I had a great experience here, until the lobby bartender refused to serve me a margarita -- after I watched him serve a herd of underage girls (who bragged to me about their fake IDs) shots of tequila and subsequently dirty martinis. He said I conversed with a group of underage women (who he chose to serve) prior to ordering my first drink. He should have done his due diligence in carding the girls was ashamed or serving before refusing me service.

I recently hosted a birthday party in the private dining room. The event was highly disappointing to say the least. There was absolutely no communication after leaving the deposit on the room. I was mislead to believe that I could arrange a special menu for the event. And instead got a poorly planned 2 course menu even after I had explicitly requested a 3 course menu with wine pairings. After the event I was given a survey to fill out, which I spent some time to give a thoughtful response only to get an auto reply from the General Manager who definitely did not read the survey! I will never host another event there and will be sure to discourage everyone I know!

My husband and I had an ABSOLUTELY delightful experience at this hotel. We arrived a bit early and Angel at the front desk was so accommodating. To make the trip even better, we were acquainted with Jaime and Nate at the bar that are friendly, welcoming, and a lovely fit for the vibe of this hotel. They deserve a ton of props as they are the reason we will be coming back to stay regularly.

Disappointing.
We booked through the AMEX Fine Hotel program which we have used for The Loden (Vancouver) and The Wynn LV. Those were great stays at fantastic properties. This wasn't. Pros- Friendly welcoming service. The valets were especially nice. Front desk cordial offering waters, champagne, and chocolate. The ladies at the hotel coffee shop, Lyric, were great. The town around it is fun to explore with some cool boutiques, restaurants, and bars. Short walk to the coast. Cons-Room was a disappointment. I expected a more decorated room and I've been in rooms where you just stop and go "Whoa!" This wasn't one of them. The bathroom was cursed. Literally a few minutes into our entrance my daughter found herself stuck inside because there was apparently a screw sticking out of the door wedging itself into the frame. I didn't want to force it open and cause major damage so we had to call engineering. The toilet the next day got clogged. Poor engineer guy must have had his hands full around the compound because it took almost half an hour for him to arrive. There was no signal to the tv. Foot traffic from room above was quite audible. I will comment about the hotel restaurant in a separate review but that would fall under the negative section here as well. Wouldn't recommend.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
