Laziz Kitchen Salt Lake City Reviews from The Last Year
Laziz is back! What relief! What joy!.
I dunno what happened, but they were good, then bad, and now Laziz is one of the best restaurants in town. Both locations have the same fabulous food and service, and downtown has that sexy little speakeasy. Get thee hence!

Yummy baba ganoush and falafel! We got a half order of the fries and cauliflower as well which were both delicious. Lots of seating and fast service!

Gave them another chance because I was hungry and they are across the street. Horrible!!!! How this place is still in business and has several locations is a testament to Utahns unsophisticated palettes. People here will argue that the food is good in this State. Oh, how mistaken they are. The meal lacked flavor. Stale pita bread (again), soggy rice, bland hummus, and pickled cabbage, and Israeli salad, both days old, thrown into the warm food. By the time I got home, the salads were warm too. DISGUSTING meal! I threw 2/3 of the meal away. I will never return!

We've been meaning to come here for a long time and it exceeded expectations! Great service and delicious food! We had the labneh appetizer with pita and veggies. Then shared the salad bowl with chicken. Both were very flavorful. The salad was fresh and the chicken was juicy. All around a great meal! Nice that they serve alcohol too.

What a gem! Really delicious food - we especially loved the labne and sweet potato fries. Really friendly, prompt service. Beautiful ambiance with intricate blue tiling and lots of plants. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Salt Lake!
Laziz is Salt Lake's version of the go-to neighborhood
Laziz is Salt Lake's version of the go-to neighborhood Mediterranean spot; no frills, down to earth, reliably delicious Mediterranean fare. We arrived during a cold, rainy evening and felt immediatly taken care of. The staff (shoutout Paul) knew the menu inside and out, and was palpably excited to share the food and the experience with us. It truly felt like being welcomed into Laziz's community. The menu was perfectly constructed for light shareables and nourishing, wholesale mains. Everyone at our table was more than satisfied with their meal, with the shakshouka, hummus, and Za'atar roasted veggies with cauliflower being our favorites. "Tasty and light" could not be a better description for this restaurant. If you need a quick, delicious, nourishing meal, this is the spot.
So delicious, wonderful service, funky, alive fun area
So delicious, wonderful service, funky, alive fun area especially on a Sunday night in downtown Salt Lake City!! It was open early which was great since we came from the airport straight there. The muhamarra is the absolute best and the baba ganoush also...fantastic. The only thing we didn't love were the grape leaves which were quite mushy.
