Pier 37 Boathouse Falmouth Reviews from The Last Year
Amazing
This spot is great for family dining or a get together with friends. I love this place because it has amazing service and the food is incredible. Gorgeous view and outdoor games looking over the ocean. Later at night the bar turns into a club. This really is an experience. My favorite restaurant.
Bouncer was a total loser.
Denying entry for no reason. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. If you're an underage kid that lives off their parents money, go to the boathouse. The bouncers are pretty much the same, probably living in their mother's basement.
We visited the Boathouse this afternoon around 4:30.
The bar was pretty quiet . We were able to get 3 seats at outside bar, yet had to wait or flag down bar servers. Young bartenders, no personality, no hospitality. Pretty sad as it's a great location!
Best place ever.
Got the swordfish. Unreal. Kristina was the best server ever. 10/10 recommend if your in Falmouth you need to come here.

We sat on the deck outside with a large group on a gorgeous day. The sound of the boats being carted out of the water was at times loud but the atmosphere was casual and fun on the deck. The drinks were good but not overly boozy. I had the summer lemonade and my husband got the spicy mango margarita which were both tasty. We split the stuffed quahog as an app - you get one clam but it's big. Good for two people. I had the Falmouth sushi roll which was good - the rice paper was different - but I liked it. My husband got the blackened mahi mahi sandwich which was really good. Sweet potato fries are waffle type and yummy. Service was good for our large group, plenty of water and attentive waitress.
ive been here a few times with my family.
however I decided go on a Saturday night as I was invited by friends saying it was a good vibe. the bartender Mackenzie is very racist and I say this because I was the only black woman there and she server everyone but me then when I ask what's up she at 12:02 said ooh the bar is close. note I was there before the bar close. I decided to sit at the bar because the dance floor was close and people were falling. Mackenzie went on to server a few other person at 12:30 after she gave 2 beers I asked a simple question "how are you serving others yet told me the bar was close?" she told me the guys have been there and I said me too she then went and call securit. like what could i have said do wrong. now when security comes and gets an understanding of what's up everyone can say is unfair. like how do you work in this field. last call means nothing but water is serve, not pick and choose who you want to sell. other things happened that made me feel this way but distasteful was the experience
My wife and I sat at the bar.
The bartender was very friendly. Everything was very very good. We ordered a bunch of appetizers. Ambience was awesome quiet even on a rainy day. We love the atmosphere going back.

The food here was great! We got a Mango Tango roll and a Tropical Mix Poke Bowl with Ahi Tuna. The mango tango roll was sweet, with tuna in the center and a fresh mango flavor overall. The tropical mix for the poke bowl had cantaloupe, mango, and pineapple in it, though we were able to request it with just mango, which was great as well! We also did the half quinoa and half lettuce, which was a good balance. We also tried the quahog, which was the most enjoyable way to have clam prepared, honestly. (The flying dragon roll was ordered by someone else.) The service was great overall, attentive and accommodating. Funnily enough, though, when we asked for more water, we were given a tray of new water cups, though it sucked to make more work for the dishwashers and waste more straws. Still, made for a silly moment that was technically correct. The ambiance is top notch, especially since we got here before the rush. There was a nice breeze and the music was very relaxing. The fork lift operating at the boat shelves right next to the place is very loud, but it's cool to see in action honestly. *Although it was a good experience overall, it was quite expensive when you could honestly get great food by going elsewhere.

never had the food but for going there in the night as a club they give you a cover charge like its a frat. Also I was stretching on one of the frames and I got thrown out for no reason. If there was rules there were none posted up. Not a long wait but I could go to raw bar free of charge as a dude and have a good time, with the bouncers being understanding. Screw boat house during the late night. Go somewhere else.
An absolutely terrible establishment.
..just don't even bother coming here. Save yourself the time and the money. So many better places around. They run this place like a college fraternity. Someone send that guy from bar rescue - they seriously need help in all aspects (but mostly the absurdly rude staff)

Everybody in my party was over age, and a few of us along with some others from another group were denied access after their machine faultily denied our ID's. Instead of accepting our valid forms of alternate identification, the bouncer acted like an entitled 4 year old on a power trip. It's the machines fault, but the bouncers attitude and lack of professionalism really ruined a good night. He was an absolute prick. Also, the two of us that were underage just snuck in the back while we waited 30 minutes in line, and I saw them with drinks. I've been here before during the day and had drinks. The food is horrible and the drinks are bad. Edit: I heard they're not doing great financially and that they might shut down soon. After tonight, genuinely could NOT be happier. Horrible establishment who lets baboons determine who gets in or not. How does a legal valid government ID not scan, and how can they be so incompetent to trust a machine over another human (if the bouncer even is that much). I cannot wait to see the new restaurant that will soon replace this embarrassment!!!!!!
